  1. That's a really cute website! I just tried to make a me gal-pal. I wonder what the t-shirts look like though - maybe I'll check back in a few months. What did you end up getting for your BM, Kate?
  2. What happens at Dreams if it rains? Do we stay outside? Does it turn into a giant wet t-shirt contest?! Do you have a link to those pictures? I'm curious now! I heard when it rains there, it really pours - so much for a nice up-do!
  3. Uh oh, he's losing his manhood. I usually give my cats a nice meal the night before... kind of like an "I'm Sorry"! But I hear ya about being w/o them for a night - both of mine sleep in the same bed as us (it's crowded!), and its odd when they're not there!!
  4. So, Aaron and I haven't officially set the date... but we both like Sept. 12, 2008. I just went to weather.com and it said that September is when it rains the most in Los Cabos! Has anyone gotten married there in September (or late August). How often does it actually rain? And last but not least, do you think I should change the date to chance better weather?
  5. Welcome!!! It seems like you have already got the basics down, which is fantastic! How long have you been engaged for? As for the WC, could you not just use the one that the resort provides with the package? I'll definately be using a WC, I don't want to spend my week before my wedding stressing about the small stuff when someone else can!!!!
  6. Right, but you don't have to indicate "and guest" on the STD yet, do you? On the STD you'd just have to state the basics, and clarify when the invites go out.... no?
  7. Aww Jennifer, they're so cute!! And Frank looks so small, how old is he? I love cats so much... if I didn't have Aaron I would definately become the crazy cat lady!!
  8. Is it necessary to state how many will be invited on the STD? I was just going to state when and where. And, is the STD more for the just the wedding or the entire 'vacation'? Lol - why is this so difficult for me?!

Hey Sharon!! Welcome to the forum. I am trying to settle on a location too, its really tough. I'd follow exactly what Sarah said, just do a search on your points of interest... 9 times out of 10 its already been discussed. If not, these people know EVERYTHING (it's almost scary how much they know!), so you'll get an answer one way or another!

I'm pretty sure we'll share accomodations the night before too...
  12. Ok - this is Einstein. I got him when I was in grade eight because for the first time I was doing really well in school - hense the name Einstein. He's kind of an odd cat... he loves to sleep on anything that crinkles when he steps on it and he loves to lick plastic bags (he prefers thicker bags!!). Anyways, he's not a very social cat but if you get close enough to him he loves to have his belly rubbed!! And this is Kitty. I got him in Grande Prairie - mostly because I was homesick for my cats back home. We were going to originally name him Scootz because when we first got him he was really nervous and well... had the scoots!! (sorry!). We ended up calling him Kitty because FH always said "Here, Kitty, Kitty, Kitty" and he got use to that as his name and so did we... plus, even though he's about 3yrs he still acts like a kitten!! Anyways, He LOVES to be with people, and if you leave the room and no one else is there, he'll follow you even if he's tired as hell!! Whoever said that cats are boring is SOOO wrong. Both my cats crack me up on a daily basis. They're awesome!
  13. We originally planned on St. Thomas as well, but it was waaay more expensive. At least there are lots of reviews of plenty of destinations to make the decision a little easier!!
  14. Thanks Jill - great pics! I can't wait to see the wedding pics!!! Lenita looks soooo pretty.

It's unfortunate that his opinion of Mexico is based on one brief experience.... So thanks for your tour advice ladies, I'll be sure to drag him off to every one of those that I possibly can - I'm sure he'll be happy I did!!!

    Hi all

Hey Lisa... there are TONNNNSSSS of Los Cabos brides here, so you should be able to get all of your questions answered! Anyways, welcome to the forum and happy planning!!!
  17. Hey Kim, Welcome!!! I love your story. In no way do I mean to jinx my relationship with Aaron, but I love the 'found eachother after years with someone else' stories. Are your children going to be involved in the wedding in any way?
  18. Ya, personally I don't see the point in an AHR. All the people that I love will be there - and for those who aren't... well, we'd probably just end up going out for dinner or something - something casual.
  19. I know people like that too... they always say they'll be there, but more often than not, they're no-showers. I'm sure they even know they won't be there, but just say yes to shut me up. HUGE pet peeve of mine - I don't care if you cancel, everyone has that right - but if you don't intend to go, just say so. I'd much rather have someone say to me "nah, I really need a day to myself" than not show up. Flakes indeed!! Anyways, I'd confront her too, ask her if she's uncomfortable - or even why she hasn't been able to attend all of these events. Who knows, maybe it'll turn into a 7th Heaven warm, girlfriends moment!
  20. Holy - 470?! Do I even know that many people? I think I need to get out more...
  21. Wow - those look great!! What kind of a flower is on it - sorry, I don't have a green thumb, I know nothing about flowers! I like the colour anyhoo. Very nice... I want to do my save the dates on magnets too... did you buy the magnet paper in rolls? After you were done, did they tend to curl it? This has been a slight nightmare of mine! lol
  22. Sorry, this doesn't answer your question at all but I remembered this when I read your post... I've heard of brides numbering the back of their invites in pencil (lightly) - this comes in handy in case some of your guests have chicken scratch for writing, you don't have to struggle to find out who wrote it - you can identify it by the numbered card (remember to keep a list of what # went to which guest). I thought this was a great idea, especially if you have a longer guest list!! Sorry that I didn't answer your question though!! :|
  23. Whoa, whoa, whoa... maybe my page didn't load properly... where are the pictures?! I like the message in the bottle idea too... and then I saw Jessalyn's invites and I may have changed my mind! So many fun ideas - it's hard to decide!!
