Wow Christine - your labor story doesn't sound that bad at all. Compared to the others that has totally freaked me out - you have set my mind as ease and I know that it can be tolerable. Well minus the being a week past due and all the other terrible things you had to go through while prego. I say that Ainsleigh decided to make labor easy for you How sweet of her. She is just so precious!! So how is it being all on your own now? Were you freaking out when your mom left?

Oh good Rach - I'm glad you are able to come!! Parties and Vegas sounds so fun!!! The last time we discussed places, I think we said Manny's on 75 & Lemon. Is that still right or have we changed our minds?

My DH has been on one guys trip and that was for 2 days to go to a football game in Denver. They always talk about going, and try to plan one, but nothing ever happens. He does however play golf whenever he wants and meets up with friends for drinks. He's a huge homebody and hates not being in his own bed, so I guess that's good for me. As far as being o.k. with him going, it would depend on who he was with, where they were going and how much it was going to cost us I do have girls night about once a month and I love them!! I always tell him to take advantage of mine and go out with his friends. Most of the time he just stays at home and uses it as his alone time.

Mo - I'm soooo sorry to hear it got so bad. At least you are feeling better now.

I tought about this too, but our supplier jacks up the prices and it was cheaper for me to go to a whole sale place. I ended up getting ours at Sam's.

You have to try to at least drink something or you will get dehydrated. What about ensure or something with some protein and vitamins? I know some of the other ladies that was sick did ginger snap cookies. Have you tried those? I wish I could help you in some way. I know you at least have to drink something!! What about ramen noodles. Those always make me feel better

Oh Maura - you poor thing!!!! Argh - I feel so bad for you. Are you still taking your meds to ease it? Are you able to eat anything at all? What about noodles or rice or PB&J.

We had a "stock the bar" party as well. It was so much fun! We had it outdoors at our friends house. They had the table set up with brown paper covers, with shells and candles. We had 2 rita machines, some big barrels of ice with drinks and had tons of mexican food. We registered at Create and Barrell for bar stuff, but mainly people just bring a bottle of liquor. Almost 1 year later - we still have a ton of bottles.

I always make James put his hand on my belly right before we go to sleep at night cause that's when he's most active. So far nothing. James just rolls his eyes when I grab his hand to put it there. I'm sure once he feels the first kick - he'll want to feel it all the time That's so great that Jay's going to be home for good! Job or no job. I'm sure he'll find something in no time. He probably feels like he's missed alot of the pregnancy. I bet he's so excited to be coming home too!
