Minister Question

We are having a legal ceremony, so we actually want to get married down there. I was sort of happy about the cost of the marriage and all the paper work being included (besides the $150 blood work fee). Can anyone give me some feedback on why they are booking a minister? And is booking a minister expenisve? All legal ceremonies in Mexico are performed in Spanish (Legal Marriage) For the spiritual ceremonies you can hire an American Minister he will perform your ceremoy in English, and you can choose your ceremony or work with your minister on the kind of ceremony you want. The cost for a Minister goes from $300 to $350 USD -
1st Attempt Centerpiece
Cabo Wedding Coordinator replied to Christine's topic in Wedding Flowers, decoration, cake, etc.
I loved the centerpieces, they are so original I would go for the mirrors, they would look geat and reflect more light, I was just thinking the pace where you are having your reception, is it windy? If so you may have some problems with he candles, but you could also use some votives!! -

I freaked out I had no idea where I had left it!! and I didnt wanted my FI to notice!! so I didnt said anything when we got home I started looking and after a while I found it I had left it in the kitchen!

Minister Question
Cabo Wedding Coordinator replied to Natalie Z's topic in Destination Wedding in Cabo
There is also another Minister in Los Cabos area, his name is Robin Clements, he is very nice you can email him to [email protected] or [email protected] he has his own cermony, but if you don´t like it he would work with you on another one. He has also worked as a Minister for the Ventanas Hotel. He is very nice person, always on time, and he usually likes to meet the brides before the wedding day. -

I need details.. lol I haven´t picked a resort I have so many ideas I need to think of what a really want, first I thought about a wedding on a boat around the arch and cabo bay, but I think it´s not a good idea for older people, and I haven´t made up my mind if I want it to be a beach wedding or not, because I was also thinking on doing it on the Jockeyé Club I post some pictures somewhere, I also like sunset da monalisa where Karla got married it has a beautiful view and the lasta idea I got was to rent a villa or a house and make it more private and intimate that way we can have the music on as long as we want to (mexican parties end up late) , about colors I haven´t decided I´ve seen so many beautiful weddings with all kinds of flowers and colors! it´s hard to make up my mind, but if it´s on October or November I would like to use some dark brown on tables and probably pink, purple, maybe some orange, yellow flowers I´m not sure about the type, I would like some lounge furniture for the coktail! mariachi for the cocktail hour, and I gues a DJ during dinner and party time. As you can see even wedding coordinators have a hard time planning their own wedding! But I get so many great ideas from all of you girls I love the party favors ideas, I just love reading and posting! I will post every detail of my wedding so you can check it out! -

If you have a destination wedding, do you come to the states? lol We are still talking about the date, he wants to get married on the day of he´s birthday which is in August, but I don´t like the idea August is a really hot month and besides on his birthday?? he says it will be a doble special day on his life, but I want it to be a unique day not a doble celebration day! I would like something like October or November. Well here in cabo we Mexican brides also get married at hotels last year one of my best friends got married at Casa del Mar, well first at the local church in san jose and then the legal marriage, cocktail and reception at the hotel. It was beautiful I will post a picture, and another friend got married in France, but just made his legal marriage ceremony last month at the Westin Regina hotel. If I had time tomake a destination wedding I guess I would choose the caribbean. I couldn´t upload the picture so I´ll just give you the web page where you can see all the wedding pictures! I don´t think any one would use a picture for a bad purpose! This is my friends weddingat Casa del Mar I think Natacha got married there also. Karina-Alejandro's Wedding Gallery! -
Did you say "yes" right away?
Cabo Wedding Coordinator replied to NATASHA's topic in Share your Wedding & Engagement Stories!
OK, so It´s weird for me to be talling my story and everything! but I love this forum! and I fill like a newbie even if I´m a coordinator! but here it goes It was the anniversay of a night club and many famous groups had come to play that night, I could tell he was nervious that night but I thought maybe beacuse he was excited or something, we were having so much fun dancing and singing but he still looked nervious or like something was on his mind, he went and get another beer for us, they were serving them on glasses, so he gave me the glass of beer and this time he couldn´t take his eyes of my beer glass and he was like "are you done" "you haven´t finished it" "be careful when you are going to finish it" "don´t leave the glass on the table" and I was like what is going on? what is happening! So when I took the last sip of my beer y saw the ring!! and I was like excited and confussed! I took it out and I look at it I jumped and hug him and he said "so is that a yes?" and I said YES. I knew he was planning to propose but I never imagine it would be like that and that day!! I loved the way he did it! We have been living together for 4 years and been engaged for 2 years and this is so embarrrassing we havent been able to plan our wedding and I´m a wedding coordinator!! but we both have so much work and it´s difficult! but this month we started talking about it, and we are going to separate the date and plan everything!! There are no excuses it´s going to be this year! -

They can take the car to your hotel and they won´t charge the extra 10% or you can pick it up at any of their offices without the 10%charge. -

Almost all cars are already 2007 but some Sentra and Verna cars are still 2006 but you can have a Platina "2007" for the same price $340 usd 1 week. Please let me know if you have any other questions. -

Parasol Website
Cabo Wedding Coordinator replied to LCBride2007's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
This is a great idea for a spring or summer wedding last year a bride brought a lot of them from the states and placed them on a very nice bascket on the entrance of the beach ceremony, they look great and really help for sunny warm days. After the ceremony during the cocktail hour you could see everyone holding their margarita and their parasol. -
