  1. This reminds me of a funny story. This past summer, FI and I attended a co-ed bachelor/ette party for our frieds. Friday night we were all to seperate. The girls met up and had a party bus take us to a strip club. (the same one that we attended they year before for her sisters co-ed bachelor/ette party which both FI and I attended aswell.) Well one of the single girls called one of the single guys to find out the cheese. It turns out that they were downstairs at the same club! (for those who are not aware, the Olympic gardens has the upstairs w/ male strippers and downstairs w/ female strippers). We decided to leave and head to a club. We made tons of noise going down the stairs. FI and all the guys were sitting right at the end. I walked over to him, gave him a kiss and said "be good"! I wish I would've taken a pic of his face. He was in total shock!
  2. I posted a thread on their yahoo groups and let them know that I was looking for a latin band. Hopefully I'll get a response. But so far I like the Mango Trio. But if I get a Trio then a Mariachi is out. But I guess I can make that decision later.
  3. Jenetta Where are you having your invites printed? I'm debating about doing my own invites and STD's but I dont want to print at home b/c my printer (DELL) uses up so much ink so fast and costs about $70 to replace the ink, that I think I may need to find a print shop to do the actual printing. Ahhh! Its times like this I wish I was MS and could everything imaginable to do all me DIY stuff Quote: Originally Posted by JPMO UPDATE: So it's official we've selected #2 This was FI's favorite as well as most of yours. One less thing to do... check! Thanks so much ladies; it's wonderful to have so many more eyes.
  4. Here are some links for musicians in the PV area that I found on yahoo groups: Latcho and Andrea, the blond Gypsies - Musica gitana Lisa York Luis Gasca Trompetista de Jazz Internacional / World Class Trumpet Artist Martin Montenegro Jazz Sax de Puerto Vallarta Music Willie and Lobo's music I'm not sure how reliable they are, but its a start!
  5. welcome darlene! I don't think we have any Mazatlan brides yet but I'm sure you'll find other info which will pertain to your wedding. I think I've exhausted my search for PV locatations, so now that I'm bored (and waiting for the hotels to reply) I'll look at some Mazatlan locations for you!
  6. this sounds like a great option. I love that you can have a catholic ceremony on the premesis! And a casino! I dont think I've seen a casino in Mexico before. But it does look pricey.
  7. go jackie go jackie go... (im moonwalking!)
  8. welcome!!! I'm so excited to see another PV bride!
  9. They look great Valerie! Are the (3)starfish on the invites real or did you print these? Its hard to tell from the picture?
  10. My brother had his wedding here about 5 years ago. I was beautiful. We had to end the music at 11p but because they have a small in, most of the 300 guests stayed on the grounds. There are rooms surrounding the Hacienda patio which the wedding party reserved. We stayed up all night playing cards, swimming in the pool and no one bothered us. Very nice place! I don't think you can go wrong with Cancun (or its surrounding area). There are so many options. My friend just had her honeymoon in the Riviera Maya @ the Aventura Spa Palace. She said it was beautiful. She has a slideshow on her myspace www.myspace.com/33505433 cheap, all inclusive and beautiful!

  23. That is one of my concerns aswell. The NH Krystal offered me a package for their outdoor 7 Columnas area untill 1am. That's the latest time I've been offered so far.
