  1. 1) I am trying to lose weight. 2) I am 20 a day. 3) I want to lose 10 lbs. 4) I do want to have the weight off by the wedding, but I hope I can do that before.

I think it's just the way business is done in Mexico, unfortunately. The only vendors who are 100% prompt with me are the Americans living down there. I have chalked it up to a cultural thing. After all, we are getting married in Mexico so I guess we have to play by their rules! Sounds like a great idea, Janet. Thanks.

Where did you find them?
  4. Damn. I don't want to end up with a crappy DJ. I want him for 5 hours. That's a long time.
  5. This DJ is not responding to me. After weeks he finally responded and told me he was free the day of my wedding. I asked about prices and that was 2 weeks ago. Is he always like this? Should I just find someone else?
  6. Both are pretty, bu I have to say the second is incredible.
  7. Does anyone know if Emeline should be helping me with paperwork or am I on my own figuring this out?
  8. 1.Combine 1tbl of sugar, cumin, chili powder, and bit of salt and pepper. 2.Rub on pork tenderloin piece. These usually come in 1.25-1.75 lbs packages with two pieces in each. 3. Finely chop a shallot. 4. Measure out 1 cup of marmalade or peach preserves (depending on taste). 5. CUt a lime in half. Put marmalade, shallot lime juice and another shot of chili powder in a sauce pan. Cook for about 5 minutes. Make sure to stir. Reserve half of the sauce. Put pork on grill and baste with sauce. You should turn and baste every 5 minutes. The pork will be done in 20-25 minutes depending on preference. Let rest. Carve and use the sauce to serve.
  9. Wow, thanks. I have been a WW on-line member for a couple of years. THis is great.
  10. OK. I suck. Don't even want to tell you about this weekend. I had a cold. DOes that forgive it. B: Cereal L: Salad with Balsamic vin. and tomatoes. D: Huge piece of pizza from Uno. No meat I'm not eating anymore. I joined yoga! I'll go on Friday and 1-2 times a week after that.
  11. Tropicana - Old School. Small. Nice pool. $5 black jack tables. I got engaged there, so I do have a soft spot for it. Great comedy show every night. Monte Carlo - Is deceivingly small, considering its facade. This is a good thing though. I enjoyed it. Nice pool. Like the brewery inside. Good beer.
  12. Thursday Breakfast: Cereal Lunch: cashews and an apple Dinner: Salad with Chicken breast. Sick, didn't exercise, sleeping at 6pm.
  13. We decided to have one because of the extended family and not wanted to play host to either side in Chicago or Dublin. This way when they come they are just as new to Cabo as we are.
  14. I ran! What is Bosu? Breakfast: Cereal, apple Lunch: 2 slices of pizza Dinner: I am not reporting this. I am going to a bar to watch the Tiger/Yankees game. I decided it doesn't count.
  15. Ok, so I didn't exercise again. I had a bad day! That's my excuse. I will today. I swear. Maybe. Anyway, menu from yesterday. Breakfast : Grape nut flakes Lunch: Salad -ham, tomato, carrot Apple Snack: Miniature special dark Dinner: Pork chop Salad Half a potato Snack: Hob Nob (cookie) Plan: Today I will come home and run 2 miles. I really don't want to start looking for dresses until I lose about 5, but I have been saying that for months. Maybe I should go try some on. THat will probably kick me it the butt. Have a great day!
  16. That's a good idea. I'll talk to them.
  17. I was thinking at least 40 would appreciate being picked up somewhere central Cabo and being shutteld to the Hilton and back. It really depends on where people stay and right now I don't know that.
  18. I am getting married at the HIlton and many of guests will be staying more towards Cabo San Lucas than the corridor (sp?) Does anyone know about a shuttle, trolley, or car service that might be helpful to bring them over?
  19. I figure I should write down my eating diary since it is 7:37 and it might stop me from eating any more. Breakfast: Grape Nut Flakes Half a banana Lunch: Apple Ham, tomato and mustard sandwich Snack: 6 tortilla chips Bite of a plum 3 carrot sticks Dinner: Chicken breast stir fried with pepper, onion, mushroom White rice Snack: Miniature Hershey's Extra Dark That was kind of therapeutic.
  20. This is an excellent idea. Just reading what you girls have done today makes me feel really guilty. I have not exercised at all today! Maybe this is what I need to give me that extra kick.
