Lisa- so great to see you back on! I'm feeling really good. The typical back & sciatic pain is still hanging around, but otherwise I'm great. Today is officially 50 days and counting... omg! Yesterday I had the pleasure of having maternity pictures taken by our very own Tammy B! Tammy is branching out from pet photography into engagement pics, maternity pics, etc, and came over to take pictures of my husband and I with the baby belly We did a bunch of shots in the house, then went out to our backyard to shoot the rest. Tammy knows me well, and knows how much I was dying to see the pictures and already sent me some teasers! I am so impressed with her blooming talent and am so excited to have her take pics of the baby when he/she arrives. Just got back from seeing this movie. Now, I'm probably one of the rare people that saw the movie but haven't read the books yet. I LOVED the movie and now I can't wait to read the books! I really didn't mind any of the stuff that people say they didn't like- the way Edward's skin looked, the way Bella breathed like she was scared, etc. I think it made the idea more realistic in my opinion, because in the movie I don't think they painted the picture enought that she wasn't really scared. She said she wasn't scared, but I thought the fact that she seemed a little more scared just made the movie more realistic.

Thanks for this PSA Jamy. Well said. I also would like to reiterate, once again, that Tammy runs this forum out of her own money, at her great expense. It literally costs her thousands to keep this forum running. We do have some ads now that bring in a small amount of revenue and help contribute to the expense, but this is not a "for-profit" forum. Keep that in mind if you disagree with something... things are actually done in a "fair" way, although most of it is dealt with behind-the-scenes so it might not always be completely understood on the outside. And this is just my $0.02, but personally I don't think Tammy even has to be FAIR. It's her forum! The fact that she is fair just shows that she's truly looking out for the best interest of the brides and contributing members. Great discussion goes into every ban and every warning. We don't like banning people. We'd prefer people just follow the rules and we can go on planning our weddings and enjoying eachother's company in peace. But, to keep this place the great forum it is, we have to weed out the problems every once in a while. Thanks to all our great members and vendors. You're the reason BDW is such a great place for inspiration, planning, and friendship

I used to be a huge fan of M. Night Shyamalan. I thought the 6th Sense was amazing, Signs was great, The Village was pretty cool, Lady in the Water was ok, and then The Happening....well, it just wasn't what I expected. Hmm..see a trend? I think his work has significantly gone downhill. The Happening isn't really a horror movie in my opinion. It has some creepy-ish parts but that's about it. Now the Strangers made me not able to go in my house alone for about a week. And I slept with our loaded handgun within arms reach when my husband went out of town last weekend. Yeah, I know, I know. For some reason it just really creeped me out. I hated the ending. Absolutely hated it. I won't say anymore than that, but I just can't stand that sort of thing, and you'll understand after you see it. The ending really disturbed me. And pissed me off. I was teary after watching the ending because it bothered me so much- we'll just blame that on the pregnancy hormones...lol

Everything is good here. Had another appt this morning. So far I'm up 14 pounds, and the baby is measuring 32 weeks but I'm 31 and change... so hopefully it's just that my dates are off (which is very possible, they've changed my EDC twice) rather than a large baby! lol

I always get my Danskos on ebay. I went to a store to try them on the first time, then once I knew what size I wore I've always bought online. If ebay doesn't have the style you're looking for check Zappos.com, they usually have decent prices too. I got my latest pair on ebay for $89.99, they're $120+ in the stores.

Just another thought on Crocs- once you have a "nasty" spill on those that soaks through to your socks you might think twice! A word of warning if you work on a floor where you're frequently coming in contact with body fluids Let's just say been there, done that, won't do it again!
