  1. As long as your not referrring to "Wedding in Paradise" but I think they are only located in Cabo. They are horrible.
  2. Jen I love the idea of getting the vows on a plate and displaying them.. Hmmmmm the wheels are turning.. Be afraid girls be very affraid.. lol
  3. I know.. Jen & Ann are also within a few days of us as well. :-)
  4. yeap, their there. BTW I've never seen this done before.
  5. When I was married the first time my ring was a "5" but when I got sized for my E-ring they recommend a 4.5, on hot days my fingers swell, and that baby won't move at all, and forget about trying to take it off. BUT when it's cold (like it is in this freakin office today) I can slide it off with a little effort. I would MUCH rather have it this way then being worried if I went swimming and it falls off. Keep in mind if you decide to have it taken in more, you can always have it taken out in the future.
  6. It's amazing how our FMIL's always blames everything on us. I'm sorry you have to deal with this. A few days isn't going to make that big of a differance, just give her time to cool down. BTW, a short FMIL vent of my own..... Cain's Ma doesn't get that when we move (in about 4 years) that she's not moving in our home with us. I've told her countless times that she can live in a house in the back of our property but she IS NOT living under the same roof. Why would she want to live with me again, I mean we were at each other all the time when she was staying with us. God I hope she finds a man within the next few years....
  7. I would try to keep it from each other. I think its really great to hear it for the first time when your standing in front of each other on your wedding day. I plan on putting my vows in my purse, and I'll have Missy hold onto it and hand it to me just before the ceremony starts.
  8. Looks great Amanda, my only suggestion is to advise your guest to file for their passport at least 14 weeks before travel. TRUST ME.. things go wrong..
  9. Good question Courtney.. :-) Fess up Jonathan..

  11. I used Clinque for a VERY long time but last weekend I got Mac and love it so far.
  12. Welcome, and glad you found us. If you have any specifc questions we have many PV girls on here that might be able to help.
  13. Jen, definitly one per person. The way I look at it, if Cain got one to play with and I didn't I would want to fight him for it.. LOL.. I'm super excited to go, I'm actually writing care notes to everyone on how to take care of our pets and such, right now. lol.. And I'm printing out all my wedding crap as we speak as well. Jen you made me remember I wanted to do sparklers. Crap it may be too late now to add them. Jen I'm going to PM you my phone number and hotel information. IF you can make it out on Saturday night and join us for some drinks I would love to meet up. How are you doing what else do you have to do?
  14. IMO I would have ordered one for each guest. What time is your ceremony? What about having them lite the sparklers for your exit, after the ceremony. Or maybe have everyone line up as you enter the reception, if it's dark at that point.
  15. The only people I "plan" on tipping is the waitstaff for our dinner. But I'm still trying to decide if I should tip Irma @ the Sheraton, since she's been alot of help. And I may tip the trio, since we got a killer deal on them.
  16. Congrats, can't wait to hear how everything went and of course see pics.
  17. OK correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought if the vendor works for themself, no tip is anticipated. But however, waitstaff at your reception would get a tip because they work for the resort. Is this not the general rule?
  18. Welcome Morgan. we have a few soon to be brides on here so your not alone. Cabo actually has more then one resort located on the beach you can swim in. Actually there are several, but with that said their are so many great locations for a seaside wedding that you really can't go wrong. We are staying at a resort in cabo on the part of the beach you can swim in but we are having our wedding at a different resort because it's not as busy.
  19. How fun, Lake Tahoe is going to be a great location for a wedding. How's your planning going so far? Welcome and congrats.
  20. here is a pic I found on the knot, I tried to post the pic as well but it didn't work so well, so here the page, just scroll down. The Knot - Melissa & Jeff: Fireworks Infuse a Beach Wedding in Stone Harbor
  21. Melia San Lucas is a beautiful resort, a little $$ though. Have you thought about Villa Del Palmer or Villa Del Arco? (VDA is new, so the rooms are nicer) I know a guy how owns a timeshare in Villa Del Palmer, were staying there while were in cabo, we got a weeks stay (has to be booked for Friday or Saturday and stay a week) one bedroom, two bath for around 900.00. You also have the option to do AI for an added price. Let me know if you want his contact information and I can forward it to you. Christa stayed at VDP as well and said it was nice.
  22. Great story, did he ever tell you how he found out?
  23. Welcome, If you do a search for Dreams Cabo you will see a TON of brides. Sarah being our most recent one. (she even has a video posted as well) Congrats on your upcoming wedding.
