  3. Jamy - well, you do have great boobs, but I don't know why that would make your hubby smell the JD - thats just weird lol!
  4. I cooked for a cheerleader, cuz that's how I roll! (too fun) And my husband stole an easter egg cuz he's a pimp & you're jealous. Sweet!

My hubby is out of town so I figured I better do SOMETHING. I've rounded up a few girlfriends & my mom & rented a limo to take us to a lavish dinner in Monterey! Woo hoo - I've never been in a limo. So pretty much we're gonna have a bunch of drinks, have a fantastic dinner, maybe catch a little live music & then cruise home in the limo (where I'm sure we will continue to take advantage of the complimentary full bar!)
  11. Pace yourself girl, I don't want you to over do it. That's a lot to fit in to one day

  14. Kelly - OMG, those are so wonderful! Seriously , that is the most personal, loving. amazing thing I've ever seen.
  15. Dang you are brave changing things up like that! I'm certain you will fabulous no matter whatl
  16. Ugh, coccidia! I've gone thru this with both cats and dogs. It is highly contagious. Poor boy. It involves lots of diarhea and it's no fun. I will pray for Jack to get thru all of this stuff. That breeder better get all her dogs to the vet - they will all have the same thing. GRRR.
  17. Senor Lambert - that was a most amazing telling of your wedding day! I love your perspective! I love the surprise dinner! You guys are so amazing!! I wish my hubby would write a post like this.....
  18. Ok, I'm super late on this, but I just wanted to throw my experience out there. I thought I would be a "walk alone" bride because both my father & my grand father are no longer with us, and any of my male family members that I would have liked to walk with me didn't come to the wedding. So I was going to walk solo, and totally didn't think it would be a big deal. Holy crap, a day or two before the wedding I realized that I was petrified of walking by myself! Which is totally not me - but the wedding me disagreed. Anyway, my youngest step son Jonathan offered to walk with me & I found it to be very comforting & special. With all that said - meeting your FI at the altar is the way to go - definitely no arguement there. But maybe is there SOMEONE that can be on standby for you if you need them??
  19. Talk about a sticky situation!! I think the no kids situation definitely becomes more difficult with a destination wedding - because people have to decide whether to just go to the wedding & leave the kids home, or to take the whole fam & trust an unknown baby sitter. It sounds like you've already arranged for baby sitting at the venue - right? In my experience, the younger the children, then more difficult it is for mommies to want to leave them. It's just the way it is. My best friend in the world did not come to our wedding because she has a 2 year old and a 4 month old & just couldn't see it working out - so she made the decision that was best for her & I respected it. I think you've just gotta let people do what they are going to do. I wouldn't indulge the desire to debate them over it. **Note - I did not have a "no kids" policy - I would have welcomed any of my friends children to the wedding.
  20. I hope you see a brighter eyed puppy today!
  21. How awful! It sounds like you got him into the vet in time. We've all got our fingers & toes crossed for your puppy - poor little guy. And that breeder! Jamie already said it...talk about bad kharma!
  22. Michelle - I'm glad to see you've gained some excellent perspective since your post from all the lovely ladies here. This whole issue is pretty much an intregal part of planning a DW...I think every single one of us that is now married can relate. And it's really hard to let it go, but save your sanity & try to set the whole thing free. Those that make it to your wedding are the ones that were meant to be there. And, really, it is all about celebrating the start of you new life w/your hubby!! Good luck on maintaining this new perspective!!
  23. Ugh Jamie! You need a doctor that will listen to this entire history. This is crazy! It def sounds like it's still related to the whole wisdom tooth thing - don't you think? Did you go back to the dentist who originally spotted the problem?? I think you should at least call them. And, I really hope you don't have mono!!
  24. Well, I would say if you have any degree of un-sureness, to postpone signing the contract. If you want to explore other options, pre-contract is the time! I don't know much about the particular area, but I'm sure some of the other ladies can help you out. did you do a site visit??
