Has anyone heard of these?  Is anyone planning on using this?

I was talking to a family friend who is a flight attendant and she was telling me that closet space for those not flying first class is pretty much non-existent and even the space for first class is very limited, so now I'm thinking about different options to carry on my dress.

I have never heard of those.  I just plan on laying my dress on top of the stuff in the overhead bins.  Lots of brides have done this and it worked well.

TRUST ME YOU WANT TO CARRY IT ON!!!!!! Gawd forbid your luggage gets LOST, or is DELAYED getting to your destination at LEAST you will have your dress!!!!!!!  Nothing could turn a bride BRIDEZILLA faster then an MIA wedding gown.  I think we will carry FIs suit on as well just to be safe!!!!!!!

I even carried on my BM dress for my friends wedding last weekend just to be safe!!!!!

I 100% agree with tori, I ve had my luggage totally lost one time.....and there is no way i want to chance that with my wedding/TTD/reception dress and FI clothes. I would def be carrying it on with you and this way you know its with you and safe>

PLUS>>>>> Ive seen those guys doing the luggage, they are not light with the hands

I would just make sure your resort accepts shipments, I know a few brides had talked about shipping their decor down but the resort would not receive it as they have too many weddings going on they do not have enough space to store everything (which I understand, some brides get carried away!).

I would still be too nervous to ship my dress because even insured say it goes missing or doesn't make it, well ok you have the money but you are getting married without a dress!  How many stop overs do you have?  Do you change planes every time?  I don't plan on having a ton of other carry on (I usually only fly with my purse :) so the dress bag will not be the end of the world for me, but I am also on a direct flight......

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
