Need Honeymoon Advice

Since the change in plans for my wedding I need to pick a location for our honeymoon. My fiance is still interested in the idea of an all inclusive in a tropical relaxing place. I think my dad is paying for my flight, but I think we will have to pay for the actual trip so it needs to be economical.

Any ideas?

yes East Coast, but we can leave directly from the San Fran area. I love the idea of an all inclusive, something romantic, adults only, affordable, a location that has a lot to see near by. I have not traveled a lot in my life and neither has Will so most places will be exciting for us.

ooh, if you can travel from bay area what about fiji or tahito or bora bora...i am doing tahiti and bora bora...they don't have many all-inclusives but they do have some...they are not really all-inclusive but more like pre-paid meal plans. i am going to do a hut over the water...i posted some pics in the honeymoon section: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t1235

I so want to go to Tahiti & Bora Bora, but we are so far away from there!! I would say do Tahiti if you can, or hawaii. Those are both places that from the east coast have super long flights so, since you'll already be on the west coast I'd go for one of those, you never know when you'll have the opportunity to make it to one of those places again, at least that's how I feel.

I don't think you can go wrong with Cancun (or its surrounding area). There are so many options. My friend just had her honeymoon in the Riviera Maya @ the Aventura Spa Palace. She said it was beautiful. She has a slideshow on her myspace

cheap, all inclusive and beautiful!

I really wanted to do either tahiti or bora bora but it's too much $$ for us right now, since we don't even have full time jobs yet we both just finished school...so we decided on staying an extra week in cabo for the honeymoon but would have raher gone where tammy is going to stay...TAMMY - take us with u lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
