    Hi Ladies!

     

    I have booked my wedding for April 29th, 2011 at The Royal. I have searched this thread up and down, so thank you for all of the helpful information! I'm excited to get the planning going.

      Hi Heidi welcome!  we have lots and lots of tips just ask away :)

       

       

      Msgalve - that is just unacceptable. Usually she responds to be in 3 days its been almost a week so I am juts going to call and I suggest you do the same. Especially since your info is not on the site. I would call to confirm everything over the phone have her send you an email after to confirm everything you just talked about and have the site be updated.

       

      Jenny - thank you I think it will be really nice to split it up I agree.

       

       

      Such a bummer that we cant see everyone wedding dates and locations any more :( I really like that

        The price for the cocktail hour varies depending on

         

        - if you're having only champagne or an open bar

        and

        - if you're having hot or hot and cold appetizers

         

         

        I think $10 is for champagne and cold appetizers. We are being charged $15 for an open bar and cold appetizers.

          I didn't even know about the site until I read about it on this board!!  I'm assuming its because my travel agent is dealing directly with the wedding planners (until 30 days out when I take over with the onsite coordinator), but it sounds like it would be helpful.  What information is on this site?

            Lady_Di or anyone else,

             

            Did you get to pick the music that your solo musician played? I asked Elsa and she said she would find out for me. She also said that that the soloist would play before and during the ceremony.

              I have been reading this site for months now but haven't posted anything before. I booked my wedding at the Royal for April 16, 2011. I'm so excited!! This site has helped me SOOO much, I honestly don't know what I would do without it!!

                    Hey everyone!  I have my wedding booked for November of this year.  My ceremony is in the gazebo, and then my cocktail and dinner reception is on the beach.  I just found out that the North Beach (where I booked my wedding) is over at the Gran Porto...I was told it was at The Royal so this ie VERY annoying.  The told me that the Central Beach at The Royal is available, but that there is another wedding close by.  Can anyone who's been there tell me which beach would be better (North at the Porto or Central and the Royal)?  Thank you so much! =)
