If I am just planning on sending save the date magnets w/out a letter or anything else to accompany it, is that appropriate? I can't remember if the save the date magnets I've received to other people's weddings included anything but the magnet. If anyone has done this, where did you get the envelope for the magnet?

    Thanks!!

I got my envelopes from staples. I sent a letter with my STD magnets, only because i needed to give out the travel agent info and resort info so people could make deposits by a certain date. Otherwise I think the cardstock would be a good idea to attach it to.

we got one the other day that had a little magnet, about 1 1/2 x 3, and it was in a tiny envelope with the hotel info, but it wasn't a dw. we sent ours out with our pamphlet about the area.

I always get my envelopes from actionenvelope.com. They have pretty good prices and beautiful envelopes. Problem is that most magnets are smaller than the required size for postage. I would say attach them to a peace of cardstock.

Oooh ... I loved those STD's they were so cute! Attaching it to a piece of cardstock and adding a little note is a great idea!

I used paperpresentation.com for envelopes .... I loved them when I got them!

Can't wait to see them when they're done!

My magnets came with cardstock and small, mailable envelopes. But I did a letter too and placed them both in a larger envelope.

If you don't do a letter I suggest printing your website (if you have one) on the magnet that way people can get the details of what they are saving the date for, since it's not just that date they are saving but several days :o)

These are all excellent ideas! Thank you!! I was stuck as to what to do since the STDs are for the AHR and we had already sent an STD w/ a letter for the DW. But I really like the cardstock ideas and thanks for the links for the other ideas!
