Day-After Brunch?

Recommended Posts

We wanted to have a day-after brunch at the resort (very informal, maybe even at the buffett area so people can come and go as they please).

But, we have a lot of guests who will be leaving on that morning -- and with scattered 1pm - 4pm flights, many will need to leave the resort pretty early (it's about a 45-minute ride back to the airport) to get checked in, etc.

Should we consider trying to be up early to meet those leaving for an 8-9am breakfast? (About half of our guests will leave the day after the wedding and the other half the following day ... which is when we leave). Or should we forego the brunch idea altogether? How many of you did this?

I would invite everyone to brunch at a certain time and if by chance they are still around they will come. We did a day after event and many people chose to do their own thing, but we had about 30 people go on the wine tour with us.

I think its a great idea! We did one on Sunday and out of the 40 guests that we had, about 30 or so were able to come and really enjoyed it. It gave everyone one last time to be together as a group and time to revel about the night before's activities. We did ours at 11 a.m. so no one had to rush to get there : )

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
