welcome3.gif to the forum! This is a great place to share and get ideas from past and future brides. You will absolutely love it here. But I just have one question...what did you mean by a "cookie cutter Dreams wedding"? It's just that I'm having my wedding there in Oct., and I think my wedding is going to be anything but "cookie cutter"?

Welcome welcome3.gif I like cookies......yum. I think your wedding is what you make of it...no matter where you have it. I don't think any of us are into cookie cutter weddings....obviously we want to escape that if we are all running off to Mexico. I'm sure you will find something to suit your needs.

most dreams brides (at least those on this forum) have anything but a cookie cutter wedding. They have hired their own outside vendors, most have even hired an outside wedding coordinator and have customized their wedding to the smallest details (look at sarah's wedding...she probably had one of the nicest weddings and it was at Dreams).

so maybe coming to a forum where a big majority of the brides are Dreams brides and saying that their weddings are all "cookie cutter wedding(s)" may not be the best way to introduce yourself.

Welcome! Hope you find the info you are looking for. I am yet another Dreams Bride and you may not want to count them out. The staff go out of their way there to tailor your wedding to your needs and preferences. I loved it. My hubby and I are "outside of the box" kind of people which is why we eloped to Mexico. Good Luck!

Welcome to the forum! I am also another dreams bride and as others have said dreams is a wonderful place to get married. All of us have spent a lot of time getting ideas and finding special ways to make our weddings as unique as we are, to call them "cookie cutter" is not really fair, without knowing and seeing what has gone into them.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
