Hey Ladies!

 

I'm so sorry I didn't get a chance to respond individually to each one of your comments as I normally do, but things have been pretty crazy!  I'm really glad that I took a few days off before we left as we had so much to do.  

 

We leave tomorrow!!! I honestly cannot believe it!  Like I know it's happening, but for some reason it's not clicking with me.  

 

It's been pretty busy since I've been off from work.  In the last three days I've:  packed everything, printed all relevant documents, gotten all of our money together, bought some last minute things, packed my carry-on, got our marriage license for our legal ceremony when we return, confirmed all of my details with my TA and the WC at the resort, and the list goes on lol.

 

All of the stress, anxiety, planning, and joy has lead to this point and I feel really overwhelmed by emotion.  A small part of me wishes that I had more time to enjoy it all, but a large part of me just wants to experience it.  

 

I can't wait to share details with you all when I get back! 


Oh I almost forgot.  I got my nails done today.  I ended up getting a shellac mani/pedi based on advice from some co-workers.  The woman at the salon put like 4 coats of it on so I'm hoping that it won't chip or anything while I'm down there.  I know that my wedding colour is red, but as the bride I really wanted to stand out so I picked my favourite colour (pale lavender) for my nails and an awesome design a friend showed me.  I wanted something a little nontraditional.  

 

What do you think?

Yay!!! Thanks for the last minute post. I totally feel your emotions! Remember to slow down and take it all in :) have a freaking blast and we can't wait for you post all about it :)

 

Your nails should do great. Shellac is generally cured under a light so it's a pain to get off :) I think they are fantastic. I would totally have done the 'I do' as well. Gorgeous idea. Good luck

Wow - you're leaving tomorrow! Where did the time go? So can't wait to hear all about it when you get back and of course you have to have pics to bring with you on Oct 2nd! lol Even if they're not the "pros". Just so long as we get to see!!

 

Have a wonderful time! I know it will all be gorgeous, especially you! Do what @@calgarybride2015 says and take a moment to take it all in. Deep breath and stop and look around. It will be awesome!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
