Wonderful start to your review :)

I even wrote about the Cancun airport in my review. It was madness when we were there. Lined up almost on to the tarmac the building was so full. I feel you sister. Was super hard for a couple people in our group as well.

Sounds like your resort was perfect. I'm glad you loved it and that everything was exactly as you'd hoped for. Except maybe the weather.

I love your teaser pics!!! I didn't know Karla Delarosa was his assistant? I love her pics too

Your review (or start of it) is so helpful, thank you for taking the time to write it. I'm definitely not Looking forward to the airport. I'm claustrophobic so the number of people scares me!

Oh man.. I've always HATED the Cancun airport - it's the one part of going to Mexico that I always dread. I've gone through that airport 5 times now and it never get's better.

I still remember my first time going.. I had forgotten to mark something off on my customs sheet and when I got to the customs officer, he told me to fill out the missing part. I asked for a pen and he stared at me like I was an idiot and then wouldn't give me a pen. I asked him three times.. eventually I had to ask someone in line behind me. Now I NEVER forget my pen when I travel haha. I even put that on my tips sheet for everyone.

So far your review sounds great and I can't wait to hear some more, but most of all can't wait to see your beautiful photos. Judging by the sneak peak of you two in the lobby, I can already tell your professional photos will be wonderful.

Hahahaha something similar happened to me although she was yelling 'get to the back of the line' ummm that 1000 person line? Not. My pen died. And made Shawn get one from someone in line.

Great review so far! Looking forward to more. I have to say, I've never slept in a soft bed in Mexico at the 7 hotels I've been to. Oh wait a minute, maybe the Fairmont... but it's the Fairmont! Luckily I don't mind a firm bed, although they tend to be too firm even for me, but Jeff prefers to sleep on a "marshmellow", as he likes to say. He hates the beds in Mexico. LOL

@perianjay  Hey! Thanks. I know - we've been doing so much the last few weeks, between Vancouver then home a couple of days and off to the US for Thanksgiving with the grandkids so its been hectic. And I got sick in Vancouver so dealing with that too. Hoping to get there Friday. Not feeling great so will wait and see. Will know by Thursday. Still haven't heard from the photographer yet on our photos but hoping soon and video won't be for a while yet.

Well we finally received our photos on Christmas eve! We absolutely LOVE them!  Sam did an absolutely wonderful job! I've uploaded some to this book. I really hope it works. If anyone gets a minute to post me a message and let me know, I would appreciate it. I'm new at this stuff with Dropbox. I might have to just upload a few photos. I didn't upload all of them - there are just too many but I did do sort of a timeline.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
