Omg insane!!!!  @@beckys98

We haven't even attempted seating chart.  We know people are coming, we just don't know how many in total.  And the reason it's random is because we have guests that are coming from mexico, Europe and other parts of latin America, so they didn't book in our group rate because our group rate was only within in Canada.  So they book on their own and they are literally taking it very casual despite the deadlines.

Wishing you all the best of luck!  Good luck with the wild card- hope she is able to make it.

@@veryvalentine I'd be losing it!! Holy smokes! Are you even going to be able to do escort cards? I guess if I knew it was the LAST thing I could do I'd be sure to just have all my packing and stuff done so I'm not scrambling at the end, but I'm a little on the controlling side so I'd be freaking out!

Hope you have better anxiety management skills than I do ;) Haha.

We depart for mexico in 26 days!  It's insane.

We have the majority of our projects completed.  We ended up making a little booklet of info with a map, hotel, info, guest info, photographer info, room number cheat sheet, playa del Carmen info, bride and groom recommended day trips, the FI turned it into a 14 page booklet and it's called, "Guide to Fiesta like there is no manana"  with our hashtag.  #BesosInparadise2015

I'll take some pictures once we are finished printing it, we have our door handle designs, stationary for the wedding reception!  It's kinda overwhelming thinking of everything we've done.  I'm exhausted.

We have a shorter to do list now.

One of the most difficult tasks we have is to try to figure out our first dance song.  Our song doesn't really match the mood of the wedding so we opted to not use it.

I'm not really into the cheesy steriotypical songs so I'm trying to avoid Sam Smith, and the John legends and John Mayers, nothing against them but I just don't want them for my first dance.

What do you ladies think about this one?

One month from today we will be arriving at the hotel and checking in!  Crazy!

So I thought we had all our guests finalized but as it turns out 4 decided to book today and we are still looking at another 4 pending.  ahhhh!!

I wonder if this is normal.  I tried to get my number for the OOT bags but honestly at this point some of them will be getting a more toned down version of it.  I can't keep up.

I finished my bridesmaid jewellery and I'm so excited.  I'm going for a gold and cream look.

So we are packing!!!  Omg!

How did all the previous brides do it??!! We've officially packed our first luggage with our cups, first aid kits and a few other things.  It weights about 20lbs.  To be continued...

the part I dread the most. I've been wanting to create a pile of all the stuff we have to bring to get a visual but I think my fear is leading to procrastination haha.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
