Hello,

 

My fiance and I are visiting Playa del Carmen in September and I would like for us to have some engagement photos taken during our stay at The Reef. We are just looking for simple photos to use on our wedding website and save the dates, not a whole fancy engagement session. Just some "make you wish you were here" photos to show the beauty of Mexico. I contacted a few photographers in the area for photography prices. I was wondering if anyone has done an engagement photo session. If you did, who did you book? And how were the prices, if you are willing to share. I was quoted $800 by one place which I think is way tooo out of budget for what I'm looking for.

Congrats on your engagement,  Have you tried Vincent from Pixan Photography he usually has some good deals with the any type of packages.

I have no idea what they charge but you could try Bicoastal Images. Their prices seem to be reasonable compared to others. They are on the vendor list here as well.

Congrats on your engagement! How exciting!

 

Have you thought about bringing a tripod and maybe taking some of the photos yourself? Perhaps you could ask someone from the resort to take a picture of you guys

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
