Hey there!

 

New to this forum, although I've been reading through it for quite a while. Trying to plan a wedding for June 2015. Taking a site visit to both Turks & Caicos and Grand Cayman in June 2014 to get a better idea of where we will be getting married. Anyone off the bat have suggestions? Good luck planning to everyone else out there!

Congrats and welcome to the site! You will find a ton of information here that will be helpful to you!

 

A suggestion that maybe check out the resort reviews and see what other brides have said about resorts in both areas that you're looking. Do you have a travel agent yet? I would definitely recommend getting one if you don't already have one. That will make your selection much easier as they can give you insights into resorts and their locations as well as perhaps tips about getting married there. They can also help you out with possible perks based on your group that you might not be aware of. If you don't already have an agent, you can contact Wright Travel throught his site and I know they can help you out with information.

Congratulations!!!  I have heard Turks and Caicos is absolutely beautiful.  Turks was one of my choices but we ultimately decided on Jamaica.  It is really nice to do site visits.  I have been to two resorts in Jamaica for site visits and I am going back in June 2014 to look at another location.  My travel agent is actually going with me to this site visit.

Yes I have a wonderful wedding planner whos assistant is a travel agent, so they are setting up all the details for travel, hotels and vendor meetings. I am very excited and blessed to have to opportunity to visit before committing! Thanks for the comments :) Happy Planning to yall also!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
