Azul Beach V. Azul Fives

Recommended Posts

I could really use some help ladies.

I am torn between these two resorts and the Karisma wedding planners take forever to respond.

Anyone had a wedding at either resort? I was also looking for photos for the ceremony and reception locations for Azul Fives. I was also hoping to get a pdf version of their pricing.

Any information or help would be totally appreciated!

Hi Kim,

Both resorts do really great weddings.  Azul Beach tends to be a little more $$ than Azul Fives.  Azul Fives works really well for families as they have suites.

Both offer beach and patio locations with Azul Beach offering the Sky Wedding Terrace.

We are a diamond level five agency (highest level) as well as top Azul Wedding Coordinator with Karisma Hotels Wright Travel Agency Karisma GI Wedding Consultants

Have you thought about doing a Karisma Bride's Dress Rehearsal?

Hi Tammie,

I've been working with Virgilia from Wright. Is she a part of the GI Wedding Consultants?

I'm having a lot of trouble with someone from the Karisma Miami office respond to me I sent an email and left a voicemail. I was hoping to find out more about Azul Fives because we love Playa del Carmen. Do you know if the rooftop deck is where private non beach ceremonies take place at Azul Fives or where the private receptions are held? The Sky Terrace at Azul Beach looks amazing I'm just curious what Azul Fives has to offer.

If you know of a way for me to get in contact with a wedding coordinator for Karisma that would be great. We would like to put the deposit down for our wedding date (January 11, 2015 wedding)

Thanks for your response!

Kim

Hey,

I'm not sure but we just booked our wedding at Azul Fives for January 11, 2015.

Maybe we can start one? When are you getting married?

Hey ladies!

congrats on booking your venue.  Im an Azul beach bride.  the karisma planners are awful! I recently complained about the slow response time.  my planner told me she always responds within 48 hours.  Today is Wednesday...the last time I sent her a questions was last Thursday & on top of the slow response they have now initiated an automated response saying they are very busy.

My advice to u is to start making decisions immediately.  Im about 80 days out from the wedding and nothing has been set. Im not really worried...just annoyed bc of all the money we are spending to just stay at the resort

talicea7812 - where are you having your ceremony & reception?

You have nothing really booked? Man, that would make me go crazy lol

We booked last Thursday and have yet to find out who our coordinator will be or hear from anyone! I've emailed back and forth with 2 separate coordinators over the past few weeks before booking with questions and they both took several days, but did respond. One was better than the other. I hope she ends up my coordinator!

we hope to have our ceremony on the beach in front of this little thatched roof hut thingy.

My wedding group is very small so we will be having the reception at chil beach.

Any other details...no clue.   6 days went by with 3 emails. she claims to only have gotten the last one? they are in my email sent folder.  funny how she got the complaint tho.

as for coordinators...I'm on my 3rd.  I liked the first one. then one day I get an email saying she is no longer with the company and the 2nd girl took over.  about 2 months ago it happened again and im now stuck with the worst one :(

its like pulling teeth to get a response.  I sent a pic of flowers...days later get a quote of $400. ask what can we do to get the price down.  im told to pick tropical flowers...which according to them is roses, daisies, and carnations? not in my world.

ive decided to purchase centerpieces from etsy and bring them down.  Im also going to make my own bouquets.  the flowers on the lomas site are expensive and none seem very special.

I am able to be credited for the brides bouquet & boutinere included in my wedding package.  Im only going to purchase something small for the ceremony

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
