I just heard from The Royalton about the decor. It's extra for any ribbons, flowers etc.

Really??? The package I was looking at, included flowers. I know if u want extra than there's an extra charge. I have to look into that. What package did u pick?

Sorry, I meant chair covers, ribbons for the gazebo. I emailed her to ask about the different decorations for the packages and she said you have to pay extra to decorate the gazebo. So I'm thinking lots of flowers instead if the ribbons.

My fiance and I will be getting married at The Royalton on May 9th and we also haven't received any pictures of the resort! tick tock, tick tock. I'm getting anxious. I'm also working with Laura directly now to plan the wedding but haven't had a moment to sit down with her and go over all the details! 

 

What do you guys think about the online reviews? I guess its common that a new resort gets bad reviews? Has it been improving lately? seems to me it has been slightly!

 

Does anyone know anybody personally whos been there so far?

 

I have so many questions!

Even the last few days the reviews have really improved. I wouldn't worry about it. The resort just opened weeks ago. Go on tripadvisor.com new pictures are on there. A lot of guest that have stayed recently have posted new pictures in the last few days.

I agree the resort is new and I think things are getting better each day. I ignore some of the comments and pictures of cracks in marble staircase and other small things. I care about things like flooding rooms. I don't drink much but I am looking forward to sitting on the swing at the beach bar.

 

You should also check out the forums on tripadvisor a great resource to talk to people who are currently at the resort or have been.
