Thank you!! It as cost me & my guests for 2 weeks around £2000 per person, which I think is quite reasonable. I can't wait to see more pictures, there is limited pictures in the travel agency brochure who I have booked with.

The rate I was given was 1861 for ONE week. That's 267 per person, per day. If I'm reading yours correctly, you are paying 143 per person per day. Does this seem correct? I like that you just went for it without seeing pictures. So cool! Have you been to Negril before to know what it is like?

Who are you booking it with? I don't know what it is per day, me & my partner worked it out that it's cost around £2000 per person for 2 weeks. No we have never been to Jamaica before!!, We have heard lots of lovely things about it though. We have been to other places in the Caribbean so decided we would chose somewhere that we haven't been to & chose sensatori as we have just come back from a holiday where we stayed in karisma hotel & it was out of this world!!

Hello Ladies and congrats to you all. I am getting married GOD willing on March 7, 2015 at 5pm at the fabulous Azul Sensatori in Negril Jamaica and I am sooooooo excited. I paid my deposit and have my confirmation. I choose this date as it is my mother's birthday and she passed 12/01/2012. I felt this would be a great way to celebrate her life and keep her memory alive by choosing her birthday. She would have been so happy, so I will celebrate her on her day and soon it will also be my day (mother and daughter) Once again congrats to all of you lovely ladies

I booked through destination weddings and was assigned Cindy Watty with Travel Impressions. She was amazing in coordinating our trip, emailing travel tips up to the moment we left and checked in with me often. I loved her professionalism and caring attitude towards her work. The $50 was worth the spend plus you get to set up a guest list, email invites through their website.

  • 1 month later...

I am currently starting the process of trying to determine where our DW will be. I have been wanting to go to Jamaica for my next vacation. I started looking into the US Virgin Islands after I decided I did not want to get married in the "states"....I thought that would be a good way to "get away" but not everyone would need a passport. I then decided I was leaning a little more towards jamaica...being its a little cheaper to fly to. Now I'm at a loss for which resort i would like to choose. At first I was thinking Negril.....I read they have the best beaches...however I'm not a fan of the hour and a half drive from the airport. I am trying to keep costs down, for my guests , as well as us. I definitely want an all inclusive resort, and i would prefer an adults only resort. Right now there is only a possibility of 1-2 teenagers that may attend. I have not contacted anyone on prices. Is there anyone that would be willing to share what their total was that they paid for the wedding? What was your strategy on picking a resort? Everytime I think I have found one that i really like I end up reading a bad review, realizing its not on the beach, or something else negative. Then i feel like I'm back at square one!!! This is stressful already!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
