Hi fellow brides!

 

I've been searching the forums to see any recent posts about the best places to buy biodegradable sunscreen for our wedding guests, but I can't seem to find anything recent. I'm looking for biodegradable sunscreen with a SPF of at least 30 to put into our welcome bags. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd appreciate all thoughts!

Hi Lauren,

You can buy it here in walmart or other supermarkets since there is a lot of parks that does not allow regular sunscreen so it is easy to find them here.  But if you find them on line like Steph suggest, much better!

Hello brides,

 

I have provided links to a few biodegradable sunscreen brands. The site below is approved by the eco-parks and tours in the Cancun area. The bottle has "biodegradable" boldly printed for park staff and tour guides to see. They offer biodegradable packets for $0.99. They do not have travel size bottles, and the 8 oz. bottles are a bit spendy ($18). I think I will purchase a packet or 2 for each OOT bag. I will also purchase 1 bottle that I will keep and let my guests know that I have it and they can borrow it if they take an excursion. This company also offers eco-friendly insect wipes and spray.

Here are some of the other good brands, although the packaging is not always as obvious and it may take some convincing staff that these truly are biodegradable.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
