Thanks Carrie!

I actually did get some menus from Kim but only one of them had prices...I think I'm going to go with the All Inclusive, I don't want people to worry about the cost of food/drinks while they are they. I know that the all-inclusive option may price some people out, but ultimately I just want whoever is able to make it to have a great time.

I agree with you with on the all inclusive option, and it's less headache in the end.

Hi Everyone! So excited! I've submitted my deposit, so I'm confirmed at Moon Dance for May 14th 2014! Sooo happy that that is done! Is anyone else in the same boat? Thanks
Congrats, and that's awesome. My wedding is 5/25/14 at the Villas. Did you buyout the resort!

We had 50 guests (ages 11 months to 65 years old) and everyone had a blast.

Kerry is a god send.  She gets.it.done.  She is really on top of everything and absolutely amazing.

Photographer – Stacey Clarke was our photographer.  I love her.  She was so much fun to work with and we loved her style.  We did an engagement shoot with her a few months ago and sheâ€s so quick with her turn around and so personable and professional.  She did a great job with our crazy guests and came back the next day for our trash the dress session.  We totally love love love her!

Videographer – EMC – great team!  Super fun.  Havenâ€t seen the video yet but great guys!

DJ – Sound Illusions – we did the lighting package too and they hit all the songs we wanted and kept everyone on the dance floor.  Great job.

Flowers – Floral Fantasy – they did everything I asked for.  Amazing.

Cake – Margaret Myrie – great job!  She did a plain cake for us.  One tier was a traditional black cake and the other was vanilla.  Both were super delish!

The staff made the weekend.  They all went above and beyond.

Our butler, Titanya, deserves her own shout out because I just loved her.  She was super on top of everything and so personable and professional and I just adore her!

I had my hair and makeup done onsite.  I didnâ€t care too much (pretty low maintenance) but I think I looked pretty.  It wasnâ€t exactly what I wanted, but at the end of the day, my now husband says I was very pretty so I guess she knew what she was doing!  J

We provided transportation for everyone since we did the all inclusive package and the rides went off without a hitch.

I donâ€t write reviews… ever.  But I canâ€t say enough about these guys!  If I had to do it all over again, I would not change a thing!  If you have any specific questions, please feel free to message me!!

Hi,

Congratulations to you on your wedding. I haven't posted in some time, but I am booked for June 10, 2014 at MDC, and I am excited. I am in the process of sending out my STD!

Hi CoEr,

I am also booked for MDC for June 10, 2014, and I elected the all inclusive package. My sister in law got married in Jamaica at Coyabo in Montego Bay in 2008, and the she did not have an all inclusive package, so we had to pay out of pocket for our food and drinks. The resort was a little pricey and a lot of the guests ventured off the resort to get cheaper food. So I decided that I did not want that, and that it would be easier for guests if we chose the all inclusive package.

Hey! I don't know why I said my date is on May 14, it's actually May 31!! Yes, I did buy the resort out for the wedding. Now just hoping that I can get enough people to put their deposit down on time!

Also, do you know if MDC allows sky lanterns?  Living social has a deal going on....

So glad to hear. Reassures me that I made the right decision about the all inclusive package! I'll be getting married just shortly before you on May 31st!

Hi Everyone,

Just trying to gather some information on airport transfers from Montego Bay to Negril. For those taking care of their guests' airport transfer, are you using the transportation offered by MDC? or arranging transfers on your own?

Thanks!

Hi CoEr,

I actually just emailed Kerry about pricing through MDC, but I haven't considered using and outside company.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
