This question is for past brides....

we are getting married at the Moon Palace March 7th 2014. Our photographer will actually be traveling with us and taking our pictures but I would like to hire video ographer please help me with any suggestions.

Hi ladies,

 

We're getting married on 16th April 2014 at MP and you have no idea how helpful reading this thread has been!  I've been following without posting for a long time!

 

I've been in real destination wedding panic and kind of burying my head in the sand, everyone has been asking questions and I didn't have the answers!  Finally spent a week sorting everything and speaking to Brenda at MP at now feeling a little more relaxed :-)

 

Brenda has been fantastic and sent me the buffet and cocktail menus for the private functions, along with the list of locations.  If anyone wants them, let me know and I can send them over.

 

I also decided today to hang the expense and upgrade my package from the complimentary to Pearl Shimmer! My OH doesn't know yet though so wish me luck!  :-)

Anyone giving wedding favors besides their OOT bags? I have been busy ordering parts for my formal invitations and I cant wait to see them come together. I am trying to save pennies where I can and do some projects myself. I have plenty of time... hopefully!

Hey 

 

We are getting married at the MP on the 2nd Feb 2015  and also have Brenda for our wedding co-coordinator. How are you getting on planning everything with her? 

 

My biggest worry is what to do in the evening that still makes it feel like a wedding. We have 16 guests.

Hi ya. Congrats! I actually haven't spoken with Brenda yet she is due to call me today! I was originally given ana and then suddenly it was changed!! We r literally going on our own with our children my mum and little sister so will be hard to make it feel wedding like. I think we will just go bar for drinks to be honest. Have u already started the planning with MP?

We did maracas as our wedding favors and they were a HUGE hit! We had one placed at every table setting and I tied a note on each of them (the size of a business card) and on one side it said:

 

"Instead of tapping on your glass, Heres a system with Mexican class. Stand and shake with all your might, To see the groom kiss his bride tonight."

 

Then on the other side we wrote a short Thank You note to our guests.

 

The maracas were ordered from Amols and were SUCH a great price! :)
