Florists you would recommend in the Riviera Maya

Recommended Posts

Hello ladies!

I like Marvin's flowers (Maya Floral) a lot!

We are located in Playa del Carmen they are located in Cancun, but I prefer his services because quality vs prices, besides he comes to the Mayan Riviera every day.

He has great reviews and you can find his reviews in the following thread:

There is Vanessa Jaimes in this thread too and even if she does not have any review yet, she is amazing!

Happy planning!

Hey monicamb,

Congratulations on your marriage! cheers.gif  I hope you're in the mood to impart some wisdom to the lost as I have a lot of questions about flowers..

Did you get your flowers delivered to GCR?

Did you have to pay the vendor fee of $350?

Did you get floral centrepieces from Maya Floral as well? Did you have them come in to arrange the flowers or did you do it yourselves?

What else did you need flowers for? and did you get absolutely everything from Maya floral? ie bouquet, loose petals for the ceremony..

Thanks! :)

I didn't pay the vendor fee because I was gonna set up my flowers myself.  My WC ended up doing it for me.  I got center pieces, and all my bouquets from them.  The flowers for the chapel I got from the resort (They were nice). I got the free bouquet from the resort & it was the ugliest thing ever. I'm glad I already had ordered my bouquet from Maya Floral.  If you have instagram you can see my flowers there. Monicazlife.  My reception ended up being at the Italian restaurant at the Gran Garibe due to the rain.  This place is usually never a option, but they had it closed down due to a leak on one side of the restaurant.  Make sure if its raining  you tell your guest not to leave their luggage on floor. 3 of my guest rooms were flooded due to the rain.  They woke up in 2 inches of water.

Thanks so much for the tips! I have been debating whether or not to get GCR flowers and centrepieces. By arranging the flower centrepieces do you mean putting them on the tables? I can't imagine how much more arranging you'd need to do if they came in a vase already.. Unless you had extremely elaborate ones. I hope your guests were moved to better suites after that mishap. That's terrible!

Hello future brides!

The bridal bouquet, along with the dress, the detail of the wedding staff chosen by the bride.

The bouquet has to be in harmony with the bride and additions. Each bouquet can say a lot of the character of the bride and her way of being. No two brides are alike, so that no two branches must be equal.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
