Recommended Posts

Elissae - I'm officially stalking your thread for photos of your wedding! I saw a peek in the dress thread, and had to hunt down your planning thread. So thrilled for your marriage, and can't wait to hear how it all went!

Thank you Amberya17!  Our OOT bags were a HUGE HIT!  Everyone loved them!  It was so cool to see everyone walking around with their drink tumblers, carrying their anchor bags to the pool & beach., using their koozies for bottle beers, applying my personalized chapsticks...our friends were so stoked!

I had a friend who just traveled to Boston for a wedding and she texted me that I needed to give a lesson in Gift Bags!  A great compliment!  woot2.gif

Hi AllieH -  Hope you are well!!!  xoxo  You are such a sweetie!

I am just starting to get a grip and get caught up on BDW.  Newlywed life is AWESOME!!! Mexico was incredible.  I wish we could do it all over again.  People are still talking about it!!!  I just ordered our wedding TY's and now just have to pick 100 photos out of 840 for our wedding photo book.  Also, I am going to start putting my review together.....busy busy busy!  Although I would not change a thing!

I am so excited to share our Thank You cards we ordered and customized on Etsy.  They are actually 4 x 6 postcards.

We ordered them through Serendipity Beyond Design.  Here is their link on etsy :

As well as their website:

Ginger was delightful to work with.

We did not want to write our personal note of thanks on the left side of the postcard (over our picture) & we did not want to move the picture to the right side...we like how this lines up as it is.  So we will write our note of thanks to the right of the picture (where an address would normally go).  We opted to order matching kraft brown envelopes to mail these in rather than sending as a true postcard.  We want people to be able to frame it if they choose.

We love how they came out!!!  Cannot wait to receive them so we can write our thank you's!  I feel so bad.  I know the etiquette for Thank You's is a year, but I want to have them done by July 2nd which will make it 3 months!

PS:  I am in the process of starting my wedding review...be sure to stop back & see!

Thanks for reading! love.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
