    Has anyone worked with Marvin recently. Seems his prices have gone off. He told me his least expensive bridesmaid bouqet is $45, even when I need 10 plus tons of other flowers! Anyone have any other recommendations in the area?

    Hi brownsugarbride, We went down for a site visit but didn't see GCB. We're staying at the Riu Palace Riviera Maya and holding the wedding itself there and the reception at the GCB.

    Thanks Elissae. That is so nice to know. I was worried about if people would actually get the bags in a timely manner, but I'll go with this approach as well.

    We're holding our wedding here in November. Very excited! I actually just saw this in "Destination Wedding" magazine as "the" up and coming place to get married in RM!

    I am thrilled to be having Adrian and his team for our hair and make-up in November. Obviously we haven't tested his services yet, but he's so easy to work with and responds right away!

    Hi Shannon! We're getting married there on November 11th and are expecting 80-100 guests, so two big weddings in one weekend at the Riu. Should be alot of fun.

    Hi everyone, I'm planning a November 2013 wedding in the riviera maya for 70-100 people. I have the resort picked out but am actually thinking about holding the reception somewhere other than the resort. I love Xcaret, but the rates seem a bit too high for me. Does anyone have any other recommendations in the area for something similar? Thanks in advance!

    Do you know what they charge for the private bar? I'm confused as they gave me the bar options, which are like $60 a person for 4 hours. I can't imagine that they really want me to pay that much for a bar and another $44 a person for dinner. I could almost have a wedding in New York for that cost!
