I will be bringing everything with me.... its a long list but everything is small... the Tumblers are the bulkiest thing.. I figured I can stuff them full of smaller things... and just be extra stealthy in my packing....   Plus I am just going to  wear all my clothes on the way there so I don't have to pack em HAHA
Hahaha that's one way to save some room. Maybe I could give that a try and then I might be able to get everything down there w/o a zillion suitcases

Ladies. I need your help. So I have a block of rooms reserved and the last day for deposits is Sept 2. The wedding isn't until MAY 2014. What RSVP date do I put for my guests?
RSVP for the wedding or tobook? If there is a deadline by Sept 2. For deposits guests should be aware. But if rsvp is for the wedding maybe 6 wks before but im not sure..do you have a date to give your resort your final count?

Sorry Sorry, I've been away too long. I was putting the welcome bags together to put in a box and take over to the FI's house tomorrow.

I bought the smallest boxes to stuff the meds in, bandaids, hair ties for girls. One suncreen in each bag since I'm doing per couple and 2 keycard holders with the welcome note and wet wipes.

I'm not adding much else to the bags but the tumblers and the bottles of mamajuana since my resort has sewing kits, shaving kits, etc in the rooms when you check in. I just had a panic attack and think i should probably start buying suitcases to start packing this stuff???

Next are the raffia fans to decorate, add a thank you note on it and ship away to the FI's house and get the stuff for the centerpieces/linens...oh gosh! that's another box...

I'm not buying anything else! I can't imagine how I'm going to pack all of this crap!

Are you including RSVPs that need to be mailed back to you?
Nope. RSVPs will be strictly online. Everyone invited is tech savvy and if not they will let me know haha.

I believe the final count is 30 days before. The RSVP would be to attend the wedding. I'm letting them know of the booking date on the save the date I will be sending out next week.

Got it!  I think maybe make a RSVP date like Sept 6th...  everyone going will know by then so its not too early and there is no point in waiting for long after the booking deadline. . .  ?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
