Just thought of something I should share with all you lovelies.... I have a secret weapon for packing.... Space bags (the bags you put stuff in then vacuum the air out of) makes a travel style bag that you push the air out of instead of vacuuming it .... I have gone on 2 week vacations before with one bag... I am a horrible over packer so I was AMAZED when I was able to do this.... Some things do get a little smooshed but another secret weapon I love is downy wrinkle release spray.. that stuff is magic. I purchased my bags off Amazon... It was a while ago but that was where I had found the best deal....it was something like16 bags in various sizes for 15 - 20 bucks.
so can we use space bag for our wedding dress as well?

I wouldn't.  Clothes yes but your wedding dress I would carry on.  My package comes with free steaming and I'm not letting the resort do it.  For the price of that dress it's not being folded, squished or touched by anyone.

I found my maracas! I had been looking for pink only that were reasonably priced and I found them finally  http://www.amols.com/catalog/pink-maracas

That site is great if you're looking for maracas or other party supply types of things. I hear you can get the maracas down there easily but I worried I wouldn't find the right colors, none at all or just not have time.  Looks like my Mom will be getting 50+ maracas to travel with!

I won't be doing it for my dress either, but I got such an awesome deal on my dress, that i really could.lol. I'm feeling crazy. i've got most of my things done(except few small things) , so now we're just in paydown mode. we do still to get flight , but most big things and things like oot bags for wedding party done, etc kow because i have and have soooo much time left it's driving me bonkers like hell. i'm looking everyday for new shit to buy. i wasn't gonna do bags for each couple, now i'm contemplating. ugggggh.  we do still have to get his monkey suit for the day. so i need an opinion, since i'm not wearing a veil, would you go with rhinestone hair comb or rhinestone ribbon headband?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
