2013 Gran Caribe Real/ Royal Cancun Brides

I was told that if you're package includes the champagne toast, which the royal package does, then you DO get the open bar at cocktail hour without any additional fees and you would only pay $5 per each additional person after 30 people.....

Has anyone seen an example of the specific videographer they use? I'm also debating this... I asked to see an example but that was only a month ago, and I've only asked twice, so naturally I haven't heard anything :P

Can anyone speak to how the Final Payment works? I got a notice from Elsa Torres that my final payment was due but I don't even know what that final payment looks like! She hasn't got back to me either so getting worried. We are getting close to the finish line and I don't know what the payment is

Ohhhh! See nobody ever told me that. I had to contact Elsa and she just gave me the form to fill out manually and I had to scan it back to her. I looked at it and the amount doesn't capture everything. I don't think so anyways. Is there a way to see the breakdown of the cost somewhere?

THAT'S WEIRD!! SHE SHOULD ALSO HAVE SENT YOU A BREAKDOWN OF EVERYTHING. AT LEAST THAT'S HOW DIANA DID IT. EVERYTHING WAS PUT IN EXCEL IN A SPREADSHEET. ASK HER FOR A BREAKDOWN TO SEE IF SHE CAN GIVE THAT TO YOU. YOU DONT WANT TO DEAL W/ ANY CONFUSION ONCE THERE.

About cocktail hour, we have the Royal Catholic package, and I was told it only included sparkling wine for cocktail hr. If we wanted open bar it was an additional $5 per person. I was also told that cocktail hr included 3 cold appetizers, and if we wanted 3 hot appetizers in addition, I was also $5 per person.

I have Elsa too and like I mentioned on one of the boards I noticed there was a random $600 added for no reason!! I called Elsa out on it and said I would like an itemized receipt for all transactions before I pay anything! I was given an itemized receipt and the $600 was removed with no apology or anything which makes me seriously wonder where that $600 would have gone had I not asked for an itemized receipt!! Becareful girls ;)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
