  • 2 weeks later...

Feeling like I am finally getting somewhere with the planning. Sent out STDs 2 weeks ago, picked colors, bought welcome bag totes yesterday at a steal and finally bought my wedding dress. Next on my list is selecting invites. I finally heard back from the new coordinator as well.

@@victoriasalv yes, Alejandra is my new coordinator. Not super impressed so far but hopeful it will all be just fine.

I bought these totes from Wedding Chicks and had them personalized obviously. They worked out to be only $3.62 each shipped because of their 50% Black Friday sale.holaAMIGOTOWEL__39259.1380214669.1280.12

@@victoriasalv Do you have a pic of the dress?? Please share!!

@@JaimeCKL THOSE ARE THE SAME BAGS i want! Haha i was literally just on their website pricing them out, shoot i really missed out on black friday... crap. I just was so unsure how many to get.

I will send pics for sure!

For invites, try Minted.com I love their unique designs and they are so easy to work with and affordable. My friends all used wedding paper divas but i didn't like their deisgns as much. Both will send samples of paper etc.

We did a solid flat card, kind of a watercolor/blue beach themed (i'll get a pic).

I just ordered samples from both minted.com and weddingpaperdivas.com. I loved a blue watercolor one at minted I saw....simple and beautiful.

Our wedding colors are tiffany blue and white so I am concerned about the colors being right.

If you order the set of 20 of those totes or more they are only $6.25 each so that's better than the $10. I wasn't sure if we needed all 20 because we are doing one per room, but ultimately at the price we paid it was worth it to order the 20. If we have extras, so be it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
