late night beach party

Hi Rsage53,

We are planning our wedding for May 2013, and I had been looking online for venues, but nothing convinced me until I saw your post! The three main things I was looking for was a Catholic chapel, beach, and late night party! This seems perfect! Thanks for sharing! If you don't mind...Can you share some pricing info with me as well? [email protected]

Thanks again!

I am planning my April 2012 wedding and after MUCH looking, debating, and a site visit, I settled on Capilla de Santa María del Secreto.  It's not a resort, but a beautiful secluded venue site just outside of downtown Playa del Carmen.  Here is their facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Capilla-de-Santa-Mar%C3%ADa-del-Secreto/105157861821

There is a chapel, palapa, beach area, and a palm grove.  best part is that you can party until 3 am!  Let me know if I can give you any more information!

We will stay at a nearby resort and have rehearsal dinner and other events there.

Happy Planning!

Most resorts only give you 3 hours but you can pay for additional hours if you use their indoor options.  However, if you are going to do that you can also look into beach clubs such as Blue Venado, Grand Coral, Blue Parrot, etc. you can search beach clubs or you can look into villas as well.

Thank you,

Hello Playain2014,

Our favorite Private Location will be this one.

We have coordinated, catered and decorated lots of weddings there.

If you find the rent fee expensive, they are now offering the location besides with grass and overlooking the ocean.

By the way, the first wedding held there was from Sol and Matt from Del Sol Photographer and it was our first wedding coordination from our company too!

Please find below links, videos and photos from some of our weddings there.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Happy planning!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
