Based on the reviews I've read from past brides most of them were quite calm, relaxed and just enjoyed the day.  They got massages, pedicures, room service and other stuff the day off and just hung out with the girls and had a great relaxed no-stress time.  Well at least that is what they come back and tell us.  Maybe they are all trying to hide the fact that everyone freaks out haha!!  Totally kidding.

I plan to do the same thing.  Meet up with my girls, relax, get my toes done, maybe a massage or do yoga that morning, order room service and have lots of great laughs with my friends and family!!  =)

i think it's natural to be nervous, only because it's the one day that you are guaranteed to be the center of attention...where all eyes are on you, where you are expected to be perfect/beautiful etc., but to answer your question........I am waiting for my day to come..........:)

Yea same here....and when I rush or I get excited or nervous...I SWEAT.....A LOT!!  I hate it but I can't help it.  Even yesterday when I went to try my dress on for the first time I was just dripping and dripping....down my back, down my front, down my legs.  So in addition to trying to relax and get ready slowly I am also bringing a small but very powerful fan with me that will I will put under my dress once I put it on LOL.  The lady at the bridal store told me to put cornstarch all over me!!  Maybe I'll just roll around in it haha!!

Cornstarch?!? Does that just help with sweating or what? I'm gonna have the same issue...my dress is fairly breezy and I'm still dripping sweat whenever I've tryed it on...can only imagine when I'm on the beach in mexico haha. As for the wedding day I'm plannning on taking it easy have breaky with the girls, maybe sit by the pool, get my toes done, have some drinks, take my time getting ready (ceremony won't be until 4 or 5 so I will have lots of time). Take my time and enjoy it, its only happening once lol!

Every time I think about the "nervous" factor, I wonder why I scheduled my wedding for 11am in the morning. Lol I plan to just get, have some breakfast, and just go with the flow of the day. Even after all of the planning, if something goes wrong or doesn't go as planned, your guests won't really know it so try not to stress too much about. I guess a good thing about having my wedding so early is that I don't really have that much time to be nervous!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
