OFFICIAL Gran Bahia Principe Riviera Maya Thread

Recommended Posts

Hi again

Not sure how to start a new thread hence writing on here.

Its 8 months til our wedding but would like to get some idea of the flowers available at the hotel also the choice of weddign cake.

WC said they would be in touch 4 months before wedding but you guessed I'm rather impatient! Not just that would like an idea of costs of flowers if not impressed with those given with the package.

If anyone is able to post or email me any details I would aprecite it.

Thanks in advance

Hey I'm having a really hard time with getting ahold of the wedding corridinator but ur staying at tulum and and have booked the hammock beach ceremony. Im looking at staying at tulum as well but worried i wouldn't be able to get the hammock section. Do u have a phone number of someone I could call to ask a few questions.
Sorry I don't have a phone number. I asked nicely but never really gave them the choice to say no. The only thing they don't tell you though is if you have the ceremony at a sister resort you have to have the supper and reception at the same resort. I ended up switching back to having everything to Tulum because I have 80 people booked with children under 1 and didn't want the headache. Hope this helps. Just be very persuasive......

The wedding cake is not spectacular to be honest its just one tear heart shape or a circle shape its a light pink colour and can get it in various different flavours eg chocolate sponge raspberry or 3 white.

The flowers depend on the time of year that you are getting married as they change.

Hope this helps

Hello all

Has anybody booked their wedding through Thomas Cook?

We have paid for the wedding package and now are being told that it does not include the judge fee (720 usd) and from seeing the wedding packages directly through the hotel it is included in the price.

Thanks

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
