Congrats Nikkie! Welcome to the boards, they're very addicting. If you start searching the forums you'll find a lot of useful info on the Palace Resorts. If you follow all the Palace Resort threads you can find pretty much answers to whatever questions you may have... Locations, vendors, decorations. Most people post the question and answers they've had back in forth with their wc. Good luck!

Hi,

I am getting married on the 30th of August 2012, I would like some ansers to what you have commented also.W hat package have you gone for? I would also like to discuss the times that people have had or are having their ceremony. I am worried that having the wedding at around 4 or 5 when the heat is not as intense will feel as though the day goes by really quickly :( I have been thinking about having at 11am wedding but I am unsure how this would work.

Any advice would be great x

Congratulations with your wedding... you will love it, the water in Cancun is so blue! Makes for the perfect back drop.

I would highly recommend having your wedding later when the sun is setting than earlier. You have to remember that by 11am... the sun is already HOTTTT! At least in the evening the heat will be coming down and usually getting an afternoon breeze. Don't worry about your day going by too quickly! Once your day comes... sit back and appreciate every moment of it. Let go of all the details and let those around you take care of you!

Part of the reason for having a destination wedding is that you can relax here. If you want to micro-manage everything... do that... but the day of your wedding let it all go! Have fun and try and take it all in the way it comes at you!

Best of luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
