Thanks AAHQ :) I am super excited! I'll keep ya posted! One good thing I did notice by waiting is that Jet blue has a direct from boston to punta cana so those who waited are able to fly direct

OMG!!!  Thank you so much for finding out that JetBlue has direct flights from BOS to PUJ!!  Some of my Boston friends/family will be sooo excited.  I can't wait until Jetblue releases the dates for March 2012!!

Thanks again!  You made my day!

Yea everyone is going to wait till about 6 months before to book, I'm really hoping prices go down and relying on our agent to keep us in the loop. It's pretty stressful for sure! I know our resort books up really fast too so I'm afraid there will be limited rooms at that time, but our wedding coordinator keeps assuring me there will be enough *crossing fingers!!

  • 2 weeks later...

hello lesee!

This info is really important to me and is sooo apreciated!! AIRFARE IS TOTALLY STRESSING ME OUT!! My wedding is in punta cana in October and I have over 80 guest booked as of right now and each of them keeps coming to me about airfare and when the prices will go down. I fill it is my responsiblity to know...but how can I possibly know for sure?  I would love to know how long your guest waited? What length of time before your wedding did you find the best prices? Thanks!!

Mexico is a different ballgame but the flights to DR if you waited too late almost doubled. Something to keep in mind.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
