For those of you wanting to try out Insanity before you buy it or instead of buying it, I found this site that has all of the videos uploaded to it in their entirety.

 

Our apartment gym has a wifi signal so I brought my laptop down and would take over a small area to get my workout in! I just cant push myself in my apartment because I get distracted.

oh hellz yayeah! I recommend ripping it ASAP - I saw another site like this via Pinterest, and it was shut down pretty quickly. thanks for posting!!

 

my FI and I do the same thing in our apt gym. there are these cubbies where you walk in, and we set the laptop in them and run the video off the DVD player. works like a charm and gives us more room to move.

That is one of the reasons I ordered Insanity because I also would never push myself like that at the gym! I will let all of you know how it is going once I start!

Hey ladies!

 

So glad to read up on peoples modified regimes!  I'm on week 3 of month 2.  Technically I should be on week 4, however I kind of feel of the wagon with week one this month (I only did 3 workouts that week so when week 2 came I decided I should rewind and start week 1 over again).  Maybe the recovery week killed my momentum, or I was just overwhelmed with the new workouts?  I'm not sure, but all I know is that I can now do a REAL PUSH UP!!!  Wohoo!  I can't get my nose to the floor yet, but it's getting there and it's a huge accomplishment for me!  I'm starting to be an Insanity believer now.  I've noticed my workouts getting better, I've toned up although there's still a layer of jiggle that I'm hoping will go down lol, but either way I know my muscles are way more solid.  Anyway I'll keep at it and push through it ;-)

Hello Insanity Ladies!!

 

So our vacation is now officially booked which means I now have a reason to workout harder and start Insanity again LOL.  We leave Jun 1 which means I have a little over 70 days to go.  I think I am going to start up this wknd and I don't plan on doing the recovery week this time.  I also plan on going to the gym to do full body once a week and bikram yoga once a week.  I really hope I can stick to it and I hope one doesn't cause me to be too sore for the other.  We shall see.  

 

How is every one else doing??

haha, funny you shoudl say you're skipping the recovery week, because I've just finished month one, and despite my earlier claims, I think I'm keeping it! I'm pretty tired, and the short break will be nice before launching into month two.

 

it's a good idea to do some different things. it breaks up the frenetic pace of Insanity, and honestly, I've had no difference in results from the first time I did it (all Insanity) to this time (Insanity/P90X combo) - except maybe now I have more muscle, thus enabling me to do more Insanity. I always figured that if I cut too many Insanity days, I could add them back in, but I haven't needed to. I measured on Saturday and am down an inch in all the major places. I'll have to post a pic soon (have I promised that already)?

 

glad you're back on the Insanity plan, sxcT! a wedding, an AHR and a vacation in one year? lucky! ; )

Thanks kellygrrrl!! I guess it would seem like a lot to others but I'm glad to be getting back to my normal routine of at least 2 vacations a year. :) We put that all on hold while we planned our wedding for 15 months and AHR for a total of 18 months. Back to normal finally!! DR in June and then back to Aventura in Nov for the 1 yr anniversary. This way I have something to always look forward to and a reason to stay in shape LOL. :smile159: (insanity jumping jacks hehe)

Where are you going in the DR??? My 30th is coming up and my hubby wants to surprise me with a vacation...most likely in June as well!

 

I started back working out this week, my sister's birthday is in May so we are Celebrating in Vegas! So excited! Time to get back on it...honeymoon is over :)
