    Hi Girls,

Jan 5 is our wedding day

we are having the wedding and reception on Las Caletas. We are coming out of Texas and I have a lot of things to bring with me. I'm wondering how many of you found it easy to shop for guest welcome items and seashells etc things like that for your wedding. We havent gone to PV and wont get there until Dec 30 so I dont know how much to purchase here and there. I know I want something a little more personal and our own taste, and doing the wedding this way is a little difficult from TX. Any ideas or shop names or anything that would help me. One of the biggest ?'s is how about flowers. I have a small pkg within my agreement with Adventure Weddings but Im not sure I can work up a better situation by doing my 10 women in our wedding's and men flowers. Yes we're all kinds of Italian, Mexican Puerto Rican and Lebanese. Any help will be great on any or all ?'s. Thanks again.

Hi! I don't really have any good shopping advice but I know some of the other PV brides will chime in. I just wanted to say hi to a fellow Dallas/PV bride :)

We had 24 people attend our wedding in Las Caletas, Mexico on May 24th, 2009!

We all stayed at The Marriott in P.V., and Honeymooned at The Royal Plantation in Ochos Rios, Jamaica!

Hi! Well we sure have some similarities, I got married at LC and my family is Italian, Mexican, and Puerto Rican...among other things. Funny.

Anyway, I brought most of my stuff with me and it wasn't too much of a pain but there are a lot of deals in PV on things depending what you want.

Check out the flea market and booths along the Rio Cuale downtown. Also there is a flea market adjacent to the marina that has some really cheap things. There are always the beach vendors but you'll get better deals at a flea market.

If you're buying bulk you can make some killer deals there. Our flowers were through LC too, but I didn't get them for my bm's, just me and MOH to save where we can. I will say they were beautiful though!!! I have pics if you like :o)

You have to host them somewhere like Photobucket then use the little yellow box with the mountain to link the image.

Here are the flowers I got through LC. Mine was the calla lily & orange roses (I'm still in love with that combo!), the other was for my MOH.

I thought about bringing silk flowers for the wedding area and possibly the bridesmaids but with so many it was hard to pack. That is a great idea though. One thing I did was to purchase a rhinestone and pearl lady bug pin to attached to their bouquets/and ladies of the wedding as a personal reminder from Chris and I. I'll show pics as we get there. But this all makes me so excited. :)))))
