Azul Beach Hotel - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

They should be able to be there on the day of the wedding, but just for the wedding - an hour before it starts, until the reception/dinner is over. For the other events/days, you'd have to clear that with your wedding coordinator.

I don't think any of the Karisma resorts do wristbands (except for day pass guests), but they do ask for room numbers and last names at the restaurants & bars - at least they did at EDR. We had friends get the boot even though they were just SITTING at a table with some of our other guests. weren't drinking or eating..had no intention of doing either one. security escorted them out.

I thought they could shuttle back and forth and use their all inclusive at the sister resorts, but I guess I was misinformed?? Did anybody have guests that stayed at a different location, and how were they able to come to Azul Beach to hang out without having to pay the $95 day pass?? Do either resorts make you wear a wristband? If there is no wristband then I figure how would they know. If anyone knows how to get around this please let me know. Only 3 1/2 weeks left yay!:woot:

Hey Ladies,

One of my friends who is attending the wedding is a talented photographer but does not do it as a business.  I was going to have her do my pictures but I dont want to have to pay the outside vendor fee just to have a friend do my pictures.  Has anyone else come across this??  If the person is a paying guest at the hotel  and attending the wedding is that allowed? Any incite would be helpful thank you!!!

Iperraton:  asposeep is correct.  If your photographer is staying at the hotel, you do not have to pay the vendor fee.  But I also wouldn't broadcast it to anyone.  Your wedding coordinator will ask you once you arrive and have your meeting.  Then you can tell her you didn't "hire" a photographer but that one of your guests is going to take photos.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
