Azul Beach Hotel - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

I love Azul Beach Hotel!  It was our first choice, but I'm concerned about the price for our guests.  We are leaning toward Now Jade because it will be a little less for our guests.  Has anyone compared the two?

Hi

Hi Meagan, I am booked at Azul Beach for Nov. 3, 2012. My advice would be to use a travel agent (I used one from destinationweddings.com and am very happy) and to have him or her get you a group rate quote. I also thought Azul would be too much and considered Now Jade based on prices online. However, after working with the DW specialist, she was able to negotiate a price at Azul that was better that even Now Jade! I was very happy since I craved the intimate setting that Azul offers. Hope this helps! Sarah

Hey Azul Beach brides!

Attached is the resort map for Azul Beach, I hope you find it helpful.  I attended a destination wedding trip hosted by Karisma resorts last month and I really loved this boutique resort!  The renovations are stunning, they really went above and beyond at this property.

Congrats everyone and happy planning!

I would love ANY suggestions, information regarding the wedding packages....which ones you chose and what additional services did you add.  Also, I would LOVE an estimate of how much EVERYTHING cost you.  Thank you so much!!  I am in the process of signing a contract to get married on May 10, 2013.

Hello.  I am planning on booking my wedding at Azul Beach and am sooo excited.  These outside vendor fees are a bit ridiculous.  I was wondering if anyone was able to negotiate them down. Also has anyone seen or gotten married at one of the ballrooms.  My family is big on partying to we need to be able to let the party go on till 3am if possible.  I'm so excited!

I'm a Mrs. P to be, too :) Please let me know what you find out about letting the party go late night. It seems like it has to end at 11-11:30 from the other posts I've read. If you get an outside vendor (like photographer and DJ) do you have to pay the $800 fee twice? I think it is ridiculous, too.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
