did anyone have a really SMALL wedding, but without intending to, and how did you feel about it?

Don't know how many guests  I will have as of yet for my jan 2012 wedding, but so far only have 12guests booked. I am thinking maybe 25 guests will attend. But to comment on what you wrote, trust me the most important person to see your dress is your husband. At least I feel this way, I can't wait to see the look on his face when he sees me.

@MichCraw... Sorry about your Dad's negativity, but you obviously have a really good handle on it!  Once people know they can't affect you anymore I have found they tend to back off. That's good that your deadline is approaching, then all there is left to do is final details and to get excited!!! I am so anxious for that day to come no matter how many guests I will have. The "what if's",  "how many's", unknowns anf family drama make a happy time too stressful!! lol But I know you all are right there with me ;)  I think your 12 guests are going to be perfect!! That is approx what my friend had for her DW and it really was perfect. There were enough of us to really feel all the love, but no one ever felt left out and she didn't have to stress about "making the rounds" as brides end up doing in big weddings because we all got to sit at the same table! I am so excited for you!! Congrats and best of luck to you!!

haha, thanks!  all i am saying is i had one couple book about 2.5 months before......so you never know. although it was a couple who had shown interest early on i suppose.  and i totally think that your 16 total will be awesome!

oh and my AHR went pretty good!  showing the video didn't work out as planned, but oh well. we did pictures in the afternoon and i got to wear my dress again which was super fun!  when i get the pics back next week i will post a recap  :)

I'm happy with the little bunch that we have... 12 total plus FI, myself, & the two kids... and actually i'm "over" when it came to my prediction of how many people would come.. so can't be disappointed about that! Did you have your AHR.. how did that go????

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
