Brandy I appreciate your help, I did have another question though. I know you said your reception was 50.00 per person. I am looking at the wedding kit from this year and it says 75.00 per person do u think that is correct or should I ask them about it? Thanks :-)

Thanks Brandy. I'm just trying to wrap my head around how much the free wedding will actually cost by the time the little extras are all included. The beautiful beginnings package is quite plain but I don't know if it will be worth it to upgrade to a theme with for just 17 people, including bride and groom. Hmm...decisions, decisions.

Hey Honeylime,

I was trying to figure the same thing out. I'm actually expecting about 12 people. What i decided to do was instead of putting all that extra cost into a private reception (after all, it is an all inclusive resort), I went with the Visions In White Theme and put my money there....for a reception, I chose the cocktail reception to give us time to take all our photos and stuff. The question really would be about all the little extra's you are thinking of...are any of those extras you are thinking of included in another theme?

It should be $50 per person for the 2 hour private reception and $75.00 for the 3 hour private reception, unless it has changed, but in my opinion the 2 hour private reception was more than enough, after we left there we went out dancing at turtles lounge where they had a DJ and we all had a blast!

I do know that now you can upgrade certain items so if you just wanted to upgrade to a specific arch you could I believe the seaside is $200 or so the one with the capiz shells hanging from the bamboo arch

Correction, the arch is $500

Linens & dishes from Seaside serenade alone can be upgraded to any package for $250 per table,

If you want the seaside centerpiece that is $75 per table.

These prices are for beaches T&C which tends to be higher than the other resorts so you may be looking at a slightly lower price

Brandy,

I looked at the wedding kit again and it is 50.00 per person. That is what we have decided to do. :-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
