Yep, that is what I am doing. My make up artist is and hair stylist is my cousin who happens to be my guest. They can't tell me that my guest can't do my hair. LOL I would suggest what Chayli said. Just have them as your guest and that should not be a problem.

Ok.... So right after I posted my previous comment someone from the group told me how long the bus ride to the excursion was....... It's two hours!!! Um... Yeah That is a long ride TO ME!!! So that is an excursion that I will NOT be doing!!!! Someone suggested though that you try the River Walk Tour, the Rhino Boats, and the jungle canaopy ziplines. Hope this helps!

Someone else just said on the fb page that the reason they did not do it was because the bus ride to the excursion was long. They didn't say how long was "long" because to some people 30 mins maybe long and to other 30 mins may not be. So I do agree with Chayil about getting other reviews. Oh and the Fb page is We love Beaches Sandy Bay-Negril Jamaica. It's a closed group so you would have to request to be added. :-)

So.. I found out about the Jungle Tubing Excursion... many people were dissapointed with their experience with the excursion. Stluciabound, I am really sorry to hear this. What his family has done and continues to do is inexcusable. I know it may be hard for him to choose between you and your family but I dnt see why he wants to push the wedding back. I think there is beach volleyball there. I also haven't heard anything about the Jungle Tubing Excursion but I am about to go ask the Beaches Sandy Bay Group on fb about it because many of them have been there and they would know all about it.

We would get the free rehersal dinner as previously mentioned a free manicure and pedicure, a free couples massage a private honeymoon dinner and a breakfast in bed. Shane mentioned something else to me about eventually getting a credit for a specific amount of money.to apply it towards anything we would want. I left my list at work so I will add the rest tomorrow of all the things that he said we would get for free. Also it's based on booking 10 rooms or more. How many people do you think will attend so far?

I spoke to Shane and he explained to me that the prices for the Arches have decreased!!! Have any of you ladies heard about that. He told me that they are now 350.00, what was the price before? Were they like 600? Also He told me that a bag of rose petals is now 60.00 not 75.00 anymore. For some reason that are lowering their prices on things. I am upgrading my bouquet to the flutter of romance bouquet. BeachesSB1412 How are you transporting your bouquet? I am also getting cupcakes instead of an extra tier of cake. Still have a lot of details to plan out so we will see how everything works out. I was really happy about the different free goodies I am going to get because of the number of rooms that I have booked!!!! So I am really excited to get to Jamaica. 464 LONG DAYS AND COUNTING!!!! LOL

That I do Know!!!! LOL All the tables seat 8, and depending on what package you get it cost a specific amount to add tables, which I think it outrageous. LOL For example the BB tables are only 100.00 per table while the other packages are about 500.00 per table.

Well... I am sorry I misunderstood you, I thought you meant aisle, as in aisle runner. I didn't think you meant the sand because it will be there regardless. I was basing my response on the idea of an aisle runner covering the sand..... maybe the other ladies who are furthur in their planning can tell you how many roses comes in the bag because I wasn't given that information yet. Sorry I can't be more of help to you in this area.

I had my session today with SHane and I can honestly say that I don't think you will have anything to worry about, I was VERY apprenhensive at first but now after talking with him today he is pretty good.He flat out told me that he is gonna make sure I get whatever I want without a problem and he is going to take care of me and my guest. So I think you wil lbe ok I know it is kind of frustrating because you did majority of your planning with Chloe and to start over with someone new is an inconvience, but I think it will all work out. :-)

I was told today that they are just rose petals that are scattered and I was told if I wanted them to be completely covered then purchase two bags which cost about 75.00. Also the aisle come with the cermony it's the rose petals that don't. If I am wrong about the prices maybe BeachesSB1412 can correct the price. :-)

Really? How amny people do you plan to have attend? 40,000 that is a lot. You are going to Jamaica during off season so it should be much cheaper than some of the ladies like myself and BeachesSB1412. We are both going during the peak seasons and that is when rates SKY ROCKET LOL She is going during the week of new years and I going the week after thanksgiving. So I think your rates should be ok, BUT my TA told me that it would be around 670 per person for a double room at beaches Negril, but this is in December, which is a peak season for them, so I think you should have some grood rates. :-)

Hey I am soo excited that you have most of the planning done. I was told that if u book a certain amount of rooms that u get the steel drum for free. Is that true? Also as fas as Chloe goes she isn't my wedding coordinator. The day I was supposed to have a session with her I got a phone call from Shane and he said that he was my new coordinator. I was told though that Chloe was out sick. So she could be out sick still. Idk. I have a LOT to do because I haven't even had one planning session yet. :-( That guest book idea sounds like soo much fun? How would u to do that? I like that idea. :-)

Oh.... I see. Well girly you have come to the right place. The ladies on this forum will support you and motivate you. A lot of the ladies on here have felt the same way, myself personally. Unlike you I have 15 months to go. So turn that frown upside down and let's try and get that wedding planning mojo back. LOL Do you know what type of venue you are looking for i.e the type of atmophere, indoor, outdoor. What about the cermony? Traditional, non traditonal. When are you getting married? 10months is not that far away it is going to fly by. Maybe you can start to develop the ideas and put them into motion. :-) When you say venue are you saying as far as resorts? Or are you having an AHR?
