Beaches ~ Turks & Caicos Roll Call!

Recommended Posts

Jacquelyn, I had everyone get together the morning after we all arrived and handed out my welcome bags then. Gave a little "thank you" speech with my fiancé too. The people that arrived a day or two later I just met them in their lobby at time of checkin and gave to them at that point :) [/right]

Hi all! Just curious, does anyone have a wedding video I can see as an example of eith er the Resort or an outside vendor?? Just curious on what others have to offer... Hi Rachel! We gave out welcome bags with a bunch of goodies and then also gave out sea shell bottle openers and starfish wine stoppers. So each single person chose one and the couples each got one of each thing. They were a big hit! Good luck :)

Hey Girls.. Soooo my day is soon approaching.. 10.12.12 and I have no idea on what to give as favors.. Can anyone give me any suggestions/ideas??

That sounds like a pretty cool idea.. We are doing OOT bags..but I thought we have to do favors as well?  Thanks for your help!

Hey ladies... Especially past brides. How was the beaches videos? Were they good quality or should I just save my money? Also, did any of you get flowers from florist's inside of T&C vs. natural touch ones? & where, in your opinion, is the best place to have the reception? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to get prepared!!

Thanks!!!

I was wonderin if anyone could help me with a dilema I'm having about what to do after the ceremony.  My original plan was to have the ceremony followed by a 2 hour private cocktail reception, then just a group dinner at on of the restaurants and then back to the beach to light our wish lanterns.  Now, I'm wondering if we should reverse the dinner and the cocktail hour and have a little party on the beach with the calypso band and a fire dancer.  So it would be ceremony, dinner, cocktail party on the beach with the specialty lighting and lounge area set up and then light the wish lanterns.  Has anyone done anything like this before?  I just don't know if it's worth the extra costs!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
