Jenetta,

Yes, many different types of vendors participate in the voucher program. Check it out at http://www.loscabosguide.com/discount.htm

I was really surprised! I also contacted them & asked for references. I contacted a gentleman who used the vouchers for his daughters wedding reception dinner - a $10,000 affair that he ended up paying $6500 for. So I would say they definitely work for large groups! YAY!!

Just to clarify, I found out that Baja Cantina will not accept these vouchers for group events. Also, there are not any vouchers currently available for Baja Cantina.

However, I have heard of people having great savings and experiences using the vouchers as individuals/couples. Just make sure Puerta Vieja will accept vouchers for your event.

yes i have eaten there - my honey engaged me there in april :) they have this little private balcony he reserved that overlooks the whole bay and has a beautiful view of the arch. it is so romantic!

and their food is really good and very reasonable. you can have a steamed lobster dinner for $10!! if you go to their website, all their prices are listed. also, if you go to our website, our entry photo was taken on the balcony there with the sunset in the background.

I emailed with the voucher guy this AM and he said many places have restrictions on the vouchers if you have more than 6 or 8 people. i guess you have to check with each individual place to see what they will take.

Some places do accept the vouchers for groups Tammy - unfortunately not the one I'm using! Da Giorgio, for instance, accepted vouchers for a small wedding reception (read about it on client comment page in the voucher section of loscabosguide.com). I still think this is a valuable resource for other activities & non-wedding events.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
