BDW Biggest Loser ~ Season 10!

I absolutely have no idea if they work or not. I have seen it at the store some times when shopping, but never buy it because I'm not sure if it's the organic kind with the 'mother' in it that they use. The liquid version has many other benefits than just weight loss alone. I think it's worth a try, but not sure if it'll work the same. I never tried it, so I'd say maybe look it up online and read reviews from buyers who have used it. Usually by doing this, I find out if it's a hoax or worth the buy before I even purchase.

If you do use it, please let us know how it goes =] The big bottle of ACV cost me $8 at a nearby publix store, the pills seem more pricey, but if it works, it'd be very helpful on-the-go.

I have a question about the Apple Cider Vinegar...I was in Walmart yesterday and they had ACV pills in the vitamin section.  There was one bottle by Jamieson Vitamins that was like $8, and the one beside it was a "weight loss ACV" for like $20....would the pills work the same as drinking the organic ACV?  I want to try it out, but I know I would have trouble bringing the liquid ACV to work and on the go, where the pill form would be much easier to bring along....

Thanks ladies!

WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 5 – 11, 2010

Tip Of The Week

Hereâ€s a Fun Fact: Many forms of dance can cause weight loss. Dancing is a fantastic form of exercise. Not only does it raise the heart rate through movement, dancing also tones and tightens the major muscle groups of the body. Dancing can burn as many calories as walking, swimming or riding a bicycle. A half hour session of sustained dancing can burn a lot of calories. Go out dancing and paint the town red, while you shed pounds in the process.

Bike-ride for at least an hour

Myth of the Week(Is it True or False?)

“Fast foods are always an unhealthy choice and you should not eat them when dieting.â€

Fact: Fast foods can be part of a healthy weight-loss program with a little bit of know-how.

Tip: Avoid supersized combo meals, or split one with a friend. Sip on water or fat-free milk instead of soda. Choose salads and grilled foods, like a grilled chicken breast sandwich or small hamburger. Try a “fresco†taco (with salsa instead of cheese or sauce) at taco stands. Fried foods, like french fries and fried chicken, are high in fat and calories, so order them only once in a while, order a small portion, or split an order with a friend. Also, use only small amounts of high-fat, high-calorie toppings, like regular mayonnaise, salad dressings, bacon, and cheese.

I take the women's daily vitamin for overall good health. I have a bad food eating habit that I'm trying to break out of. A lot of the foods I tend to eat don't provide the vitamins or anything else my body needs, so the vitamin supply the healthy vitamins I didn't eat. I, also, take other herbal supplements.

I take odorless fish oil softgels because I don't really like fish or other kinds of seafood and this way i can get the benefits of the fish oil with out eating it(great for skin). I take odorless garlic softgels for heart health. Last, I take niacin for hair and nails. I've had a bad habit since I was kid of biting my nails and during my late teens/early adulthood, I would get acrylic nails. The aftermath is thin and weak/brittle nails, so niacin actually makes them stronger and gives me naturally healthier hair.

A few of my friends are taking B-12 (either weekly doctor injections, pills, or liquid) for weight loss and it seems to work for them.

This link should answer all the questions asked, including what the 'mother' is.

The reason why the organic is better is because the regular cooking one is pasteurized, heated, and filtered where a lot of the beneifical properties are removed(including the 'mother')...Kind of like how you can't heat up baby milk in the microwave or else all the vitamins are taken away.

Here's the brand I use (it can be found at local grocery stores, in the organic section).

Hope it helps =]

How did everyone do over the long weekend?  I slacked a little on the healthy eating front blush2.gif  I hardly ever eat out because it can be tricky to find places who will accomodate and understand a gluten-free diet so when I get the chance, I take it.  We ate out twice so I'll be taking extra long walks every night after work!

Oh this weekend was bad! I'm scared to even look at the scale. I'm gonna have to probably do 2 workouts a day to lose the weight I gained over the last 3 days haha I don't think it was the food as much as it was the alcohol and just laying around on the beach tanning. I was doing so good working out on Fridays and Saturdays, hiking on Sundays...and this weekend was just a total lounge fest. Oh well, it was fun! I'm gonna have to be conscious of my diet and exercise this weekend for sure.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
