Destination for Wedding in Cabo

well, we had a bunch of kids with us 8 or 9 between the ages of 2 and 11...then we had a bunch of teens and i truly think the best choice for family resort for weddings is Dreams. They have alot of kids activity but are not overrun with them. There is also a quieter adult pool for the ones that want to get away from the kids area.

They have a kids club that is really fun. Also, the AI factor was really huge for the families because alot of times the kids did not want to leave the pool area so they just had poolside service...there is a waterslide that went into a small pool where is was easy for the parents to watch the kids...

there are also lots of events for the older kids...this bungee jump thing and archery competition, etc.

if you don't want to do an AI, then maybe cabo surf hotel and take it over...

other choice...PB Rose

but this of course is my humble opinion becuase of the kids factor...

As far as AI, I've heard that the RIU and Presidente are good choices for families.

The RUI Palace is very condusive to kids, right down to ice-cream 24/7.

There are plenty of water-sports activities right on their beach also.

The proximity to town is better than Dreams - but both are beautiful, and all-inclusive.

For a purely secluded beach wedding - I choose Pedregal... Pristine private beach - gorgeous sunset. Guests would have to cab to the site, however.

Has anyone looked into the Cabo San Lucas Hotel? - The setting is lovely there.

I know my friend Donna got married there and they did a great job.. It's wierd because I can't find a link to it. It is one of the oldest hotels in Cabo - right between Chileno bay & El Tule - Very authentic Mexico... - If I find out anything more I will let you know.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
