Hi Lauren,

I'm getting married at NOW Jade on July 8th 2011. I'm contemplating hiring a photography from NJ. However you mentioned the photographer at the hotel did a great job. Is there any way I could see the pics that he/she took so that I can make a final decision. Also, would you happen to have a pic of the cake offered in your wedding package from Now Jade? Thanks in advance.

and here's a picture of our cake. they charge per slice for each additional guest not included in the package. we ended up paying $650 for this cake! way over priced but it did taste good. maybe you can try to negotiate.

Hi Laurena,

Thanks for the prompt response, it was very helpful. The cake is lovely. Did you chose the flower arrangement on the cake, or was this the only option?

 

I still am not able to view the photos that the Now Jade photographer took, your website is still unavailable. 

 

Also, with the Divine package, there is an offer of hair and make-up. Did you use this service? If so, were you happy with the hair stylist? I'm not really concerned with the make-up, but I am having anxieties about my hair, after all it is the most important after my dress. If you used an outside vendor for your hair, can you please leave his name and number.

 

Last, did you get married on the beach, and if so, was there a plank so that you could wear shoes? I need to know if I can wear shoes during the ceremony.

Thanks for sharing. where can i view your video and the pictures. I am getting married there on July 2011 and i am actually scared when it comes to my flowers and

photographer i haven't picked my flowers or centerpieces yet.

Any suggestions???

Hi Chinaire,

 

I requested the flowers for the cake...I emailed Pilar inspiration pics prior to the wedding.

 

I hired an outside vendor for my hair & makeup - Fernando Fuentes from the makeup pros (www.the-makeup-pros.com). He brings someone w/ him that does hair. They were great and I felt beautiful. My hair and make up held up through the humidity and to the end of the night!

 

I would not recommend the salon at the resort. I had requested pictures of past brides and they never sent me any. I got a manicure the day of the wedding and it was the WORST manicure ever. If they can't even do a simple manicure, I would not trust them with your wedding hair & makeup.

 

We had our ceremony on the Pergola, over looking the ocean. It's concrete so no worries about wearing your shoes.

I emailed the wedding coordinator inspiration pics for my flowers and centerpieces prior to the wedding. My bouquet and centerpieces weren't exactly what I had chosen but they turned out nice.

I am just making sure I have everything clear. Your flowers are from the resort florist correct? Also, do you think if I came with pictures of how I want my hair done the salon there would do alright? I don't really have the money to hire an outside person and am just hoping they do an ok job! Also, did you use the resort photographer and videographer? I am also planning on using them and your video looks great! I am hoping you used them! You looked beautiful at your wedding! I loved your dress!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
