Hi bbeatt, I am getting married on Friday July 8, 2011. My fiance and I are going down on Sunday, and returning on Sunday. My 52 paid in full guests will be arriving on Wednesday, May 6, 2011, although I do have a couple arriving on Tuesday. How is the planning coming along?

Hi Ally, I am getting married at Now Jade on July 08, 2011, and I'm a person that is very detailed oriented, so it makes me nervous that Pilar is so laid back. Actually, my wedding coordinator is Maria, so I hope that she displays much more energy than Pilar. I agree that the resort appears to be very picturesque, but I have heard of the resort being understaffed. By now the resort should be well aware of the unacceptable wait times at dinner and at the bars.I hope that changes by July. Currently I have about 40 guests booked, and I would like for their accommodations to be flawless, no one complaining about wait time, or anything for that matter. You said if there are less in the party than your own, you do not recommend the Bamboo Room, so what room would you recommend? My fiance has his heart set on a beach ceremony, but I agree, it may not be as private as I would like. Were you able to wear shoes on the Pergola? I don't have a wedding party so I don't believe wedding flowers will be an issue, but I do agree Now Jade's flower prices were really expensive. My concerns are the chair covers, center pieces, food, hair and make-up. Did your cake look like the picture, because I've seen wedding cake photos and I wasn't pleased. Do you have wedding photos that I can view? If so, I will send my personal email. Thank you in advance, Chinaire

Hi Laurena, I tried leaving a message on the-makeup-pros.com website and was unable to. I really just wanted to them to email me a list of prices, before I consider hiring them. Were there prices reasonable?

Hi Yules, I will also be getting married in July 2011, at Now Jade. Congratulations. I have been speaking with several brides on this forum, and am looking forward to speaking to several more brides. The Now Jade staff seems to be accommodating, and I have seen pics of the cake offered with the wedding packages, and pics from photographers at the site and photographers hired. Chinaire

Hi Laurena, Thanks for the prompt response, it was very helpful. The cake is lovely. Did you chose the flower arrangement on the cake, or was this the only option? I still am not able to view the photos that the Now Jade photographer took, your website is still unavailable. Also, with the Divine package, there is an offer of hair and make-up. Did you use this service? If so, were you happy with the hair stylist? I'm not really concerned with the make-up, but I am having anxieties about my hair, after all it is the most important after my dress. If you used an outside vendor for your hair, can you please leave his name and number. Last, did you get married on the beach, and if so, was there a plank so that you could wear shoes? Hi Lauren, I'm getting married at NOW Jade on July 8th 2011. I'm contemplating hiring a photography from NJ. However you mentioned the photographer at the hotel did a great job. Is there any way I could see the pics that he/she took so that I can make a final decision. Also, would you happen to have a pic of the cake offered in your wedding package from Now Jade?
